Inviting buyers to fiverr

Before coming to fiverr, I worked for a client. I designed a website for him. Now he wants to upgrade his website through me. But as now I am on fiverr now and I want to get him on fiverr and get this order from him on fiverr. If I invite him to fiverr using fiverr invitation process and he orders my gig. Is it allowed on fiverr? Need your suggestions.

Yes, you can definitely bring clients from off platform. Do remember, though, that here you’re having to pay the 20% commission and your buyer has to pay extra. Although with the new Bring your own Buyer thing (which is still only available for some) you’ll get the 20% back, I believe.

So yes, allowed. Advised? Up to you.
