Yes, the app has to be open on your phone. I just always have mine on and have the app running in the background when I’m not actively using it.

I was started fiverr last month. I got 14 orders and very near to seller level 01.

In last 30 days i learn few things which help to you.

1. Do your best work. (It’s most powerful tool because buyer will come back again if you do it perfect.)
2. Keep consistency.
3. Manage Delivery on Time.
4. Be polite with buyer.
5. Make perfect Gig image (make sure your work visible in all media like desktop, mobile, ipad + in search result, in listing view, in mobile list, in description page etc.)

In last 30 days I didnt share my gig, not promote in any social media and even earn good in first month.
