    I was doing his assignments

Uh, you better STOP doing that. It is against the TOS.

    Don’t you think it’s a little unfair

What I think is unfair is someone who goes to school and cheats their way through class to get their degree - then gets a job they are not qualified for.

But even after getting good grades on his assignments

Well, he didn’t get good grades on those assignments, you did.

As for if you were offering a Gig that was not fraudulent - the buyer can choose whether or not to review. Period.

Why are you doing other people’s academic work for them? Do you not have any conscience or scruples?

Expect your Gig to be shut down soon.

can you please again let me know the requirement of this program

jonbaas is not posting on the forum at this time, so he is not going to be able to answer you.

Did you READ the entire thread? I think MORE than one time someone has posted the LINK to read about promoted Gigs.

Most of the new sellers think that after making a gig they will immediately get orders and raise a lot of money. But it’s not that easy, It is a competitive marketplace and there are a lot of sellers offering the same services as you do, even If your services are the best out of all of those sellers it still requires a lot of patience.

Many sellers are waiting for an order for weeks and even months.

If you are one of those sellers, you need to be patient. Even if you have the best gig on Fiverr, it will take some time to get an order. You can not just wait for an order - what can you do then?

    1. Keep learning. There is a lot to learn from this forum! especially, the Fiverr Tips category.

    2. Keep improving. There is always room for improvement so, always keep working on improving your gigs and profile.

    3. Keep practicing. Practice your skill so that whenever you get an order, you can have the buyer satisfied with your work. Making them give you a nice review and don’t make a gig for something unless you can do it professionally because if a good review can make your profile look trustworthy than a bad review can do the opposite.

    4. Never give up. When I first joined Fiverr, I waited for months to get an order. I just gave up thinking that I can’t get an order. But guess what? Just after I had given up, I received a message from an interested buyer. But because I had left Fiverr I missed the chance of getting my very first order and noticed it after 25 days!

Uh, I hate to be “that person”, but, looking at your Gigs you have NOT had ONE order or at least, no reviews…also, you just joined in February 2021, so how is it you have “waited months and months”?

Why do I have a feeling you copy/pasted this post from somewhere else? You do realize while trying to “appear” as though you are well spoken and read quoting Rousseau and Joyce Meyer - you look foolish by masquerading as someone you are not.

The giveaway was quoting Joyce Meyer whom I believe is someone pretty much only known to those in the Bible Belt here in the US or in Texas I believe where she is a pastor on TV - For some reason, I just could not swallow that some guy from Pakistan would know to quote Joyce Meyer a Christian preacher - isn’t Pakistan mostly Muslim? Either way, I found both of these quotes on a site called BrainlyQuotes (something like that).

Anyways, I think that you and your post is fraudulent.

Change my mind. I think I will go get some receipts though before you can.

  4. Can you send a link to your Fiverr I wanna see. Thanks

All you need to do to see their Gig is click on their name in the forum and it will take you to their forum profile page - highlight and copy their user name and then open a page to search for Gigs on Fiverr and put their name in the search box. Search for User names matching this person’s.

They are not allowed to give their Gig link in this category of the forum and it is easy enough to find them.

Also, if you are thinking that you want to see their profile so you can message them directly to ask for “insider tips and tricks”, I would advise you not to do that. They are not here to be your personal coach. They gave tips above to help you if that is what you need. Messaging sellers whom you want to just pick their brain and not buy their services is a good way to be reported for spam.

Every experience has been bad since i got on here, It’s been so many times that people promise me to contact me after a certain date then when that does not happen they ignore me like seriously? Same with someone who asked my files to look at it and never ever responded to me after that like they just stole and have my personal files they can easily just use make and sell… This platform is such a scam and there is no way to report someone since the button does not exist! You legit have to contact support for that and that doesn’t even do anything…

Are you talking about buyers or people in the forum? This guy is asking about other forum users giving misleading or incorrect information. Your post seems to be on another subject entirely.

    options to ignore

You were already guided how to report someone. You can ignore or block users in the forum whom you do not want to participate with, see their posts etc. Click on their name in the forum post - and then click again on their name when their info pops up. From there, it will take you to their page in the forum and on the RIGHT hand side, there will be an icon that will say “Normal” - click on the drop down menu tab thingee and you will have the option to either “MUTE” or “IGNORE” them. When you click either of these, you no longer have to view their posts. I think though, that if you come upon their posts in a thread, you will still have a choice to view them, but you have to click on a link that says, “View Ignored Content”.

  6. It’s just crazy how people don’t understand how revisions work. “Oh, I got a question, let me hit a modification”. Sometimes I just feel like they do that on purpose thinking I would respond faster because it’s marked as “in revision”…

So overall, each of that revision would affect my Gig for no reason at all.

Oh, I got a question, let me hit a modification”.

    Those are the WORST!!!

It isn’t that they are unhappy with what I delivered, it is just they have a “question” about what I delivered (nothing needed fixing) and decided to hit Revision instead of just sending me a note on my page or on the order page.

I swear, if that counts against us, in some secret AI way, that would really suck. I do not get this often, maybe once every 6 months, and it is too funny, because I ALWAYS know which people will do that - so, it isn’t a huge problem for me, but could be for others!

  7. 1.Make a plan. 😃

    2.Make your profile professional.

    3.Add a mind-blowing description to your gig.

    4.Add video to your gig.

    5.Stay active.

6.Share your Gig on Social Media 😊

NO need to reply TWICE with the SAME advice to the SAME post.

I swear you think that posting on the forum will help your Gig.

    OY!

  8. Good points, I agree.

Personally, I’m just a random kid from a 3rd world country, and $5 is actually a decent amount of money for me.

  9. But the system needs to be transparent, and that’s why I’m troubled by this! Maybe it was my interpretation that the ‘12 hour reminder’ was just that - a reminder.

I could be 100% wrong about this.

It’s based on my personal observations and I could be mistaken about most of it.

This could very well be a simple reminder, just as well as it could be a reminder that’s also getting measured.

But have you noticed that we got a number of notifications we didn’t use to get in the past 2 years?

-the buyer is waiting on an update

-you have 12 hours to deliver

-the buyer is new to fiverr

    -this is a VID buyer

    -this is a business buyer

    -check the requirements

-this is a Fiverr’s choice order

Maybe this is Fiverr being as transparent as they can be with us:

“You need to provide a great service, here’s what we need for you to do.”

    -check the requirements

Now that you brought that up, I have to wonder if that goes against you too? I get that message constantly and it irks me. I do not open up an order until I am ready to work on it OR if I feel there may be something missing. For some reason, I always know to look at those orders that will invariably be missing a key component I need to get the job done. I had one just last night, and sure enough, had to write to them asking for it.

So, I wonder, with this “check the requirements”, if you don’t OPEN the order and check to see if everything is there within 24 hours or whatever - if that also makes you look like you could care less about customer service?

    Also, with the messages of

-the buyer is new to fiverr

There is always that “reach out and make their experience good” (or whatever it says). I wonder if I am supposed to be sending them a little greeting and thanking them for their order (before working on it!) and that I will be getting to their reading soon?

Lots to chew on. I don’t do either of the above - meaning, I do not send messages to new buyers welcoming them, I don’t check the requirements until I am ready to do their work OR unless I feel something may be missing.

    Interesting.

  10. I completely agree.

It’s up to everyone to handle their business as they see fit.

I am not saying that we should follow these to the letter or that we should somehow be “worker bees” or cogs to the machine.

I am merely suggesting that these things more likely exist and it’s better to understand what is happening behind the scenes so that we can understand why there are lulls sometimes.

Just for clarity: I don’t thing delivering during the “12 hours left” window is catastrophic.

It does get counted towards performance though, so maybe the percentage of orders this happens to is important.

It does get counted towards performance though, so maybe the percentage of orders this happens to is important.

I will keep that in mind. It just rubs me the wrong way as if you have someone over your shoulder looking at you and tapping their foot. I also do not deliver days or long before the delivery date because, there is an EXTRA for that - you want your stuff in 24 hours? Then you have to pay a fee to cut in front of the line. I always felt like if I deliver in under 24 hours (if I am not doing anything better with my time) it gives the impression that the next time they order, they will get the same fast delivery. I don’t want to train people to think that is how it would be. So, I usually do it within that “you have 12 hours left” window, so that they A: get it on time and B: usually hours before it is due.

They need to fix the bug that told me a 15 hour remaining on the order Gig clock is 12 hours and under now. I just delivered it, so it was over the 12 hour mark. Oh well, can’t win for losing it seems!

  11. So, get this - I get the message that I have only 12 hours to deliver and there is 15 hours left on the order.

    OOOOPS!

I have to say I regularly if not always deliver when there is 12 hours or less showing - I have orders not only here but on my own site to tend to and I work on things as they were ordered. I sort of think some of the observations make us more like worker bees rather than people running our own show here.

But, I get it, they want sellers who are probably totally devoted to Fiverr as if we were married or something.

I just think they may want to fix their “bug” of telling me I have less than 12 hours when clearly, I have 15.

I still get plenty of orders here regardless though of whether I deliver an hour before it is due or a day before. My personality does not do well being “tied down” and having someone tapping their foot “reminding” me of deadlines. I am an adult, I know when things are due.

  12. Hi,

I would also like to remove the additional pics that keep being added to my gig portfolio. In my case it’s automatically adding the access details for completed gigs o create fir the buyer including email and password. This is a huge security risk as it’s showing access details and buyer info to public. I need to remove and stop this immediately!

I think you need to go in and EDIT the Gigs that are automatically showing what you are delivering and TURN OFF the Live Portfolio.

  13. I wrote it my own. I hope to write more.

Are you a seller here? Your screen name sounds as if you are.

If so, and the content above is original (which, it does appear to be), you should do well here. Add a pic though - your profile here does not have a pic or logo of yourself. That can help you get orders as well. When one can put a face or logo to a seller, it creates a level of trust or attraction.

not sure why this is here

Did I spam? I thought I can discuss anything in the conversation tab. I just wanted to share my knowledge with you. 😑

Sure. As I said, you posted it at least in the Conversations portion of the forum.

I just hope you actually wrote this and did not lift it off the internet somewhere as that is not allowed on the forums.

  15. Well, not sure why this is here - but at least you put it in “Conversations” rather than, “Tips for Sellers”.

I have a dog. She is going on 14 and is blind and deaf now. She runs into the furniture, walls, cats (who put up with it and understand and love her even though!) and me.

I will miss her when she is gone, she has been a very faithful and fun companion. They are like kids.

  16. It seems trading bots have quite a market on here although they all claim high earnings and mention nothing about risks, looks very shady.

Right, and wouldn’t that fall under Fiverr’s terms about not putting up a Gig that “promises” a certain outcome?

Are there a ton of these type of Gigs here?

My thoughts exactly! Why on earth would Fiverr want to let people have Gigs that would sneak into an unsuspecting user’s computer?

I have a feeling this type of Gig is not allowed here.

Besides the fact that this Gig seems a bit on the “shady” side, all of your Gigs (3 of them) start off in the 100’s of dollars - this one in particular is $100 another Gig where you create some automated thing to do stock trades is $300 and another is $400. You are an unleveled seller here - you have no feedback, no sales and no track record to show here. That could be why buyers are looking at your Gig, but gun shy to actually click the Buy Now as they have no idea if you can deliver what you say.

And, of course, again, my opinion (and it is only that) of your Gigs, is they are pretty shady looking!

  18. hi all… I’m a no level seller. but I have no idea about promoted gigs. How can I promote my gigs like this. I’m willing to spent bucks also…

Please tell me if it’s possible.

    @mateusbl @uk1000 @vistagrafixguru @syedarslan619 @irfanpro @zahiddesigns @theratypist @himeldhaka7 @nikitakakade24 @shiv_graphix

You cannot promote your Gigs unless your Gigs qualify. You will see on your Dashboard a link to promote your Gigs when your Gigs qualify for this.
