  1. It might take some time to get your first order. Fiverr is a very competitive marketplace. Keep working on yourself, your gigs and also do a lot of research about what would work the best for you.

  2. You are doing great. It will take some time for you to be noticed the way you have dreamed of. You can check what others in your niche are doing and you can also take suggestions from this forum too. Eventually, you will gain a lot of experience in the freelancing journey.

Every seller is unique in their own way. It is great that you are getting noticed faster.

  3. My advice would be to reevaluate your gig descriptions and ensure that they are interesting and accurately represent your skills. You can consider optimizing your gigs for search engines, promoting your services on social media platforms by targeting specific buyers in your niche.

A successful freelance career takes time and persistence.

It can take some time to get your first order on Fiverr, but there are things you can do to increase your chances. Improving your gigs and researching what works best on the platform can help. Additionally, you have come to the forum at the right time and can learn from the experiences of other sellers. Keep working on your gigs and don't give up, your first order will come.

    Hello professionals,

Yesterday I got a order from United Kingdom to develop a landing page. I worked hard on it and delivered it but the client requested to cancel the order. I am 100% sure the client is a fake client and want to drop new sellers order completion rate.

Guys I added unlimited revisions to this gig and as this was my first order so this $5 really mean to me.

Professionals please help me out of this matter and tell me now how can I get my $5.

    Thanks in advance...

If you have delivered the work and things are not getting sorted out between you and the buyer, then it is best to contact the Customer Support. Don't cancel the order. If you have completed the work according to the requirements, then you deserve to be paid.

I have completed what buyer has asked to do. He asked initially incorporate the IDX to his website, which I did. now he say to fix other issues as well otherwise he wont pay

What should be done in this case?

should I submit the work which i have done? and what happen if buyer declines the work? does fiverr support buyers in every case?

Please let me know as my time to submit the work is running out.

    best regards

You will never have control over any outcomes. You can communicate your difficulties with the client. It is their choice to accept, decline or to ask for revisions. If something is beyond the scope of the gig, you need to communicate that too with the buyer and the customer support (if the need arises).

I have researched for a long time and found that the brief system is a bad system. In this system new people are not getting work, new people are not able to show proof by working even after learning work. If one does not work or cannot show proof of work to the sellers then how will he advance? Again those old sellers are taking orders from their rank gigs. Most of them don't need to be briefed but they are being briefed. It is definitely inappropriate. In my opinion the buyer request should be brought back. Then new sellers like me can introduce myself to buyers.

The buyer's request was indeed a very convenient feature for most new sellers. Now it is gone. We will have to adapt to the system and work accordingly.

Hi. Any suggestion for getting orders? Is there a way to get more buyers?

If you are a new seller, it will take you some time. You will have to research thoroughly about what works and what will not work for you. You can use this forum for your research too. You will learn a lot and work for the best.

Are you really so desperate? Are you going to die if you miss one order?

Also remember one thing... my device, my choice, I can do whatever I want to. You are no one to tell me whether I am desperate or not.

You misunderstood me,actually i want to know if the buyer is genuine or fake,is there any way to know that?

If they are willing to place an order within the platform, then yes, they are genuine. If they are asking you to contact them outside the platform, they are not legit. Also, the buyer could be a first time buyer on the platform. It could be their first buying experience.

    1. My gig promotion is gone! My gig has not been promoted for almost two months, in these two months I am working with my regular clients but my inbox response rate is automatically decreasing, can anyone tell me the reason?
    2. And after how many days can I get promoted back to the gig? (No negative feedback in my account.)

Did you skip responding to messages from a new buyer?

Thanks for the great suggestions. That's where the questions came on. Recently one of my buyers placed an order prior and the filled up the requirement (Questions etc). Finally when he sent me the task list, there is a huge list to do within the gig budget he chose (eg. it's a 12 hrs gig). Found the task much more time consuming and also the type of task (eg- mine was a data entry VA gig but order was more like brainstorming, making review etc). What can I do in this case.

Once again, thank you for your kind response.

You should discuss with the buyer about the budget and the delivery extension if that is the case. Sometimes, the buyers expect more in a limited budget and we will always come into situations like that. They should know what the gig would offer them. If they are going beyond the scope of the gig, you would need to send them another custom offer. The consequences could also vary. The buyer might accept your offer or might choose to cancel.

If you can increase your prices, you will get clients who value your time.
