Hello Fiverr forum community, I used my picture in my Fiverr profile. I have a brand logo. I want to use my logo instead of my picture. my question is if I change my profile picture and use my logo should my gig lose rank?

waiting for an answer from the forum expert.

    Regards

    Rahana

No, changing your profile picture doesn't affect your ranking on Fiverr. But having your own profile pic instead of a logo or anything else, add credibility to your profile which makes buyer trust you more.

We appreciate your interest in becoming a freelancer on Fiverr. To meet the growing demand for high-quality services from trustworthy freelancers, we have carefully considered your profile and service. Unfortunately, we cannot approve your seller profile at this time.

Why I can't use forer account because i'm pakistani or i can't do designing or i'm poor???

What is the reason why you have shown your dead account?

Fiverr is working towards the betterment of the platform, that's why Fiverr is not letting a lot of new sellers to join the platform.

My family members want to work on Fiverr in the same category as me (graphic design). We use same Wi-Fi to browse internet. They also want to create graphic design account in their own phones. I hear from social media that many account blocked/disable because of same Wi-Fi connection. Will it be a problem for my graphic design account?

It'll be suspicious but I'm not sure if it's prohibited.

Hi I ve been recently promoted to Level 2 on Fiverr but I am not getting any client after promoting to Level 2. Impressions and clicks going down from last 7 days. How can I improve this. Please don't generic statements as it doesn't seem to do any difference. Any tested and tried method and suggestion is highly welcome. Thanks

The problem here might be your buyer satisfaction score, which is based on internal surveys/feedback. You need to improve it.

    Dear Community,

I'm reaching out for assistance and advice on how to reactivate my temporarily disabled Fiverr account.

On August 25, 2023, I received an email from Fiverr stating that my gig was reviewed and they believed the service I offer could potentially harm their marketplace. Consequently, my account is currently under review by their team.

It's worth noting that I have been offering the same service for over two years now. I was on the verge of achieving Top Level Seller status when my account was temporarily disabled by the Fiverr team.

I've built a loyal customer base with numerous repeat buyers, and my overall rating stands at an impressive 4.9.

I've reached out to customer support, but unfortunately, I haven't received a positive response yet. They keep saying that their team is looking into it.

Could anyone please offer any guidance or advice on how to go about recovering my account so I can resume offering my services to buyers?

Thank you so much for your help. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. 🙏🙏

Tell your returning customers about this issue and have a backup account ready, of course, not under your name but maybe one of your siblings or family members so even if this account gets disabled, you'll have something.

this is the type of thing that makes users not trust the platform. Either it will be or it won't - this is a career for many people, so they need absolutes, not maybes. I never activated that feature, and I still won't, there's no reason to risk it. Even if they claimed "it won't", I don't know if it can be trusted or not. We need transparent systems, with transparent metrics, otherwise we can't know what affects us and what doesn't, regardless of what's said.

When I want to take some time off, I just need to keep replying to messages once a day, with request to order on.

Well you're right, it's a career for many people including me as well. How about increasing your prices if you want to take some time off of the platform?

I hope all users doing well.
As you read my topic title of Fiverr gigs disappeared and didn't find on any page. I will describe this issue in detail. I faced this issue two times. The first time I faced an issue about a de-rank account all gigs were de-rank even though I checked all of the Fiverr pages for specific gig categories.

How gigs are ranked after de-rank?

This is a very tricky question and has many factors to involve in ranking gigs. First of all, we need to know why de-rank accounts or gigs. There are some possibilities of de-rank accounts and gigs with bad ratings, canceled orders, and reports from buyers.

Note: My account is on level 2 and also completed the requirements for top level. I also used Fiverr promotion.

    Personal Experience after de-rank account:
Luckily there were some regular clients and I got many good ratings and positive feedback from my old regular buyers. I also updated my gig with good SEO and everything which possible I did it but nothing happened. After that, I continued online on Fiverr and got more good feedback from my regular buyers.  They make a good effect on my de-rank account but it takes a minimum of 6 months to rank again on Fiverr. I was very happy to get back Fiverr promotion and appearance gigs on 1st and 2nd pages.

But after only 7 days account was again de-rank and all gigs disappeared from the search result. It doesn't appear on any page of the specific category. Even I get many positive feedbacks and ratings and didn't get any bad feedback or ratings or anything from these seven days.

    Why this happened?

I don't know why this happened again. I hope Fiverr gives a better answer to this issue.
I also attached screenshot one of my gig impress result.

    Gig impression.png

Well, it looks like you haven't heard about the Updated Fiverr Algorithm where buyers/customers rate you internally via a survey from Fiverr and then the algorithm evaluates you on that. So in your case, even though you're doing everything right publically, your buyer satisfaction score is low because of internal feedback or poor performance, not delivering on time, or a lot of revisions made by your buyers.

    Hello everyone 😊

I'm seeking insights from more experienced freelancers here regarding an issue from the topic: clients suggesting significantly reduced rates for services.

I'm a newcomer to this platform, and to build ratings and some trust with potential clients, I'm initially offering lower rates than most of the well-established users. So far, I haven't received any orders, except for the usual spam messages. Today, I had my first serious inquiry from a potential client. However, they proposed an exceptionally low rate and an extremely tight deadline. I declined the proposed terms because I know that to deliver high-quality work to the client, I would need to invest many, many hours of work. Even though I lack any ratings or experience on Fiverr at the moment, I believe my services deserve fair compensation.

Now, to the point, I'm concerned about this situation and would like to hear about your experiences. Is this kind of underpricing common on this platform? Are clients often prioritizing lower rates over service quality?

Well, it's up to you. If you want to build your profile, sometimes you can have low-rate orders when you're not getting any orders at all as a starting point. What it'll do is that you'll have ratings/feedback to show the clients (don't forget about the private feedback). Once you have enough orders in your order queue, you can increase your rates. But again it's totally up to you, you can have a first order at the price you want wait a bit and maybe you'll have one, or you can work with someone who's offering a low rate and complete your first order as a starting point.

100% WRONG! Staying active or being online does not help you at all. This myth is spread by sellers who lack knowledge about how Fiverr works.

Most of the people on this post are making stuff I guess because these aren't helpful.

I am a new seller give me some gig rank tips.

There's a lot of helpful stuff on the Fiverr forum you can use and it'll help you. Unfortunately, the people who are sharing the tips or tricks with you look new to me because none of them make any sense. Read Fiverr TOS so you'll get to know Do's and Don'ts.

I've been a level one seller 2 years back. I lost my gig ranking as well as my level too. Now I want to start again. I've already on fiverr since few months. I've updated my gigs & I stay online all the day long. But its very unfortunate that my gig is not ranking apart form the impression is not increasing. I've maintain standard of my gig like adding video presentation, 2 pdf file, images and also my gigs include the portfolio. Still I'm suffering from this. I ask help from the experts.

Be patient, give it some time. It'll take time because you've been inactive for 2 years but gradually your gigs will return back.

Just thinking about others, how you guys deal the situation when the market is down and you have no orders.

This is the best time to learn a new skill, I provide a variety of services from Logo to Brand Style Guide, UI Designs, and WordPress websites, I learned all these when I started Fiverr. Once you start getting orders, you will not have time to learn anything new. Be patient and belive in yourself.

100K+ sellers are trying to optimize their gigs with SEO. Why are they not all on the first page then?
    Fiverr is not Google.
What @newsmike is telling, is the truth. Fiverr puts the gigs that make money high in the search results. A $5 gig with no sales is not going to stay long on the first page. And the chance that it gets there is low.

All the talk about SEO, social media, and staying active or online is not working.

Providing quality to the customers is the only way up and to make more money.

    Hey everyone,

I joined Fiverr 2 months ago and I got my first order within a week. After that first order, I got like hundreds of responses every week.

Unfortunately, I have a condition called "Imposter Syndrome".

Whenever a buyer places order so I just start freaking out. There is this voice in my mind that you can't do it. But then I got a solution for it.

I started offering " Work First, Then Pay" service. That way, I didn't have to worry about order cancelation or anything. And my clients are also happy with this service. Cool! Isn't it.

Now I wanted to ask, Is it against Fiverr TOS to do something like this or is this fine ?

Well, Imposter Syndrome is very common among Freelancers or remote workers. Just belive in your self and start delivering quality work, don't do "Work First, Then Pay", it might hurt you when you'll get scammed. But the only advice for you is to just believe in yourself that you can do it and stop thinking about other things.

You can try different prices to see the results then like $50, $100, $110 etc. I was getting the briefs earlier but irrelevant ones so had to turn off that feature!

    What's your niche?

From your username, I'm assuming designing but anything specific?

    Hello fellow Fiverr sellers,

after having a super successful month on Fiverr getting a ton of orders, the impressions on my best performing gig (https://www.fiverr.com/zuzana_mukumayi/be-your-life-and-accountability-coach) went from around 1000+ to basically zero over night.

I get only generic responses from Fiverr support, I got once cancellation but was assured by the support that should not affect anything as it was based on buyers unresponsiveness. I don't think I got any negative private reviews on this gig (maybe on a different one?). I wonder if it can be just algorithm and bad luck.

Did this happen to you in the past? If yes, did you find out what affected it and how did you recover?

    Thank you and cheers!

Well, that happened to me a lot in the past, and it's only because of the Buyer Satisfaction Rate which is based on internal surveys from Fiverr. If you'll work on that I hope you can recover from this.

It doesn't matter what gig you're talking about.

If I were a buyer, I wouldn't buy from you if I noticed someone else in the pictures of your gig, and then your name under that picture. That's lying.

Exactly, if a buyer don't trust you, how come is he going to give you business?

    Hi Editophia,

The location to each account on Fiverr is set by the system and is based on your current geographical location. The location updates periodically.

If you change your location in the future, and the location is not set correctly, please reach out to our CS team and they will be happy to help.

    That's great, I didn't know that.
