I feel the pain of lost business. For the first time in six years, I have no backlog and very little inquiries. I suspect it is a combination of AI, the economy (Most of my clients are business-related) and the extraordinary number of sellers in each category, many selling way below what I can offer. I think ChatGPT is perfect for websites interested only in traffic. It's easy for it to produce a fact-filled (if you can trust it), white bread-type article with key words, etc. At the same time, the technology will continue to improve, so complaining about it is blowing in the wind. I'm trying to use it to replace the time-consuming, non-creative aspects of my work, hoping that I can find that happy medium between volume and price. If anyone has a better solution, I'd like to hear it.
