  1. After reading about Sony Japan warning of PlayStation 5 scalpers and bot. Of course, these scalpers are the worst type will buying out almost all of PlayStation 5 gaming console which is draining Sony's stock, so the buyers like us couldn't buy it. These scalpers will then resell it with higher price to cheat out people's hard earns money on Facebook's marketplace.

Scalpers are like the thief version of NFT stealing art off DeviantArt site from artists who work hard to create art for living. The NFT thief then resell it cheaper I considered it as counterfeit art. These NFT thief usually re-sell it cheaper to draw away the people from buying art from the original artists on DeviantArt. That's why I'm so glad DeviantArt finally combating NFT thieves. So, yes, PS5 scalpers
are as worst as NFT art thieves in 2022. I don't know how does scalpers do that by buying the PS5 before people did. That's I'm sick and tired of waiting for Sony restocking of PlayStation 5.

F***ing hate scalpers and NFT thieves.

  2. If you ask me how good Adobe Illustrator can be. I will tell you how awesome Adobe Illustrator CC was! Designing art and logo with Adobe Illustrator sure does bring back good memory during my high school days in the early 2000s. The apps itself back then doesn't have a lot of tools, but still fun to design the art out of your head. Did you know? Back in my high school day during senior year, my art I won the first place at the art gallery with $600 prize is the art I designed with Adobe Illustrator to created art.
Adobe Illustrator CC now today was so much better than the oldest retro version. Because it had 3D features you can create out of your logo and text!

Did you know? Most professional comic artists on DeviantART, including myself used Adobe Illustrator to create comic character design by using pen tool!

  3. Most of the time I have to reminded myself that it is not healthy to block a friend back just because they deleted and blocked us after 12 or 15 years of friendships, if they decided to cut us off from their life. Then, of course there is nothing we can change that. Most people we met online will come and go. We can't force them to stay with us forever.

Although I find the blocking friend just show us how immaturity some people can be. however, I understand where they are coming from when they have family issues at home or broke up relationship problem. It is very sad, indeed. Because nothing we do to can't change that. That's why I would advise the person to seek counseling or therapist for help if they have some mental break through with friendship relationship, and need someone to talk. It's suck to be lonely without having no one else. I get it. Even if that person decided deleting and blocked me after 5 or 6 years of friendship for not able to be there for them through hard time they are depressed after knowing I was too busy with commissions. I always take a lot of my times to be there for them when they need someone to talk to. I would let him/her go and won't bother them. It's their decision to end our friendship relationship. All I can do is wish them all the best and wanted them to be happy. There is no need to hold grudge or hatred toward them just because they removed us from their life. It's hurtful, but you have to remember it their decision, even if you or your best friend have an argument over small things or have no issue at all, but they just removed and blocked you out of the blue. Yes, it really mess up what they did.

Deleting and block friends can be very confusing and leave us scratching our head and wondering what we done, if they are upset something. You have to remember, sometime a friend might unblock and message you later if they feel lonely or miss you. If not, maybe they found someone else. You just have to move on and live your life. Then are plenty of new friends online we can always meet get to meet them. Not all are friendly, but most are friendly we can meet online.

  4. Well, it's look like I will not going to have a vacation anytime soon until my work is finish with the new art for another book. Have a new commission coming up from another client to design fantasy art for his new book. I don't even know how long this artwork going to take, but the project sounds super exciting to me to be honest!

And yes, he wanted the artwork like The Lord of the Rings, Witcher 3 and Skyrim illustration style mixed feeling. It's feel like me working on the Lord of the Rings artwork with Peter Jackson for the movie on set! [Feeling Happy]

  5. Would you rather pay the artist $100 upfront for a sketches, then pay another $250 for the final finish colors? If it was me, I would cancel the commission order after month if the artist does not following up with deadline. I have read a lot of horrible stories from client had bad experienced with the artist who stealing their money and gone off. I never ask my clients to pay me upfront just for a sketches, then later hold the complete art hostage for the client to pay another $400 for ransom. This is why clients never hire artist on DeviantART based on their Commission descriptions and Refund Policy.

This is why clients have good reason to come up with Artists Beware website to expose these thief and scammer with their bad reputations. So other clients would aware of these bad artists!

  6. If you're looking to commission or hire an artist on DeviantART to create art for your book, game or music etc. But then the artist just disappeared from the face of the Earth with your money without show you the sketches after 3 weeks with  no respond, even if you keep email them and ask to see the sketches. If they did not show you any sign of the art process, but disappeared. Then of course, you have every rights to expose that person on Artist Beware websites, so other clients can avoid working with these people claimed to be artist. They are just scammer. Not artist!

I support clients on this against these thief who claimed to be artist and stealing money from many others.

  7. The weather here in California will go above 100° later at 4PM, but eating orange fruit sure does keep me feeling cool!

  8. I cannot believe I will be 40 in 2 months on the 4th. 😞

  9. Even though the Wolf (Lewis) wasn't the only psychopath killer Sarah will ever come across and face with him later when he appearance in "The Final Last Stand: Fear No Evil" Vol.2 comic book series. There are some bizarre behavior about the Wolf in his past before the virus outbreak started. Of course, there are a lot of new different type of enemies out there, including weird kind of zombie (infected) bosses not only she will encounter, but some of her group who later meet her at the abandoned motel.

Looking forward to design the zombies boss full body character concept artwork, including the crazies, cannibal, and psychotic (mentally insane) humans enemy that including the "Wolf". You don't want to know what does the Wolf did to his victims. It also happened to some of the group Sarah and Johnny (the homeless) are with have gone missing. Hopefully Sarah's youngest brother and his best friend Ashley wasn't end up dead in the hands of the Wolf!

  10. New character adding to "The Final Last Stand" zombie post-apocalyptic comic series. He was Sarah new worst enemy she encounter with during her trip to the abandoned food supermarket with a dog when he try to knock her out with the hammer.

"The Wolf" who's real named was Lewis Davis, and he will often track down and hunt his victims, stragglers. Wolf was once a follower of religious-cult before he was expelled from the group for disobeying the cult-leader command.

Wolf is a skill hunter and a loner lurking in the woods, but some survivor said he traveling with the pack of wolves. However, there is no proof of evident supported their claimed about the Wolf.

New character concept art, "The Wolf".

Yes. Sarah was his enemy he tried to kill, but failed. Thanks to (a German Shepherd) dog who saved Sarah (the main female protagonist) life.

  11. Scanning the San Diego area on Google Earth images for working on environment/landscape to creates some scenery concept art in the "The Final Last Stand" game art book and the comic series. Of course, the natures has been taking over the whole United States since the deadly outbreak started when the virus spreading quickly in March 2024. Not just the U.S., but the whole. World.

The Dark Quarantine area used to run by the C.D.C., the Military and the U.S. National Guards are the most terrifying place. It very dark. And no survivors ever try to enter the quarantine area inside the abandoned hospital. Who knows if there any vaccine left in there. Everyone are struggling to find the vaccine, and they will keep fighting to survive...

Even some stragglers are willing to take the risk for the vaccine inside the abandoned hospital, if they knew the building are fill with the walking dead.

  12. These are two images portrait I used A.I. Artbreeder to created for the early development how I envisioned my male character Jason Drake (who used to be the former Night City Police Detective), would be like in the final character for game.

This is just an early development I'm looking forward to create a game final full body of Jason Drake character concept art with him wearing detective in civilian outfit and N.C. Police uniform.

The first portrait was Jason before he was sentenced to 20 years in California Federal Prison he was set up by the corrupted cop, his partner he worked in the Night City Police Department beginning in 2057.

The second image was Jason when he turned 50 before he was released from California Federal Prison, then searching for the criminal who responsible for his wife death.

The images I will used for my personal project with two different story of the characters concept art designs idea for the final project only in game and comic and work close with developer and game director on future project.

  13. Even though the commission price at DeviantART whatever the client wanted to buy it for their project on book, game, film or music track. But too expensive and the client couldn't made full payment depend on their budget -- of course, a client or buyer can make a weekly or monthly payment depend on how much the clients would like to make monthly payment before the full complete colors version artwork was deliver. However, the client will be able to keep the copy of line-art before the payment was complete for the final artwork was deliver.

If the client decide he or she want to stop the payment and wanted to hire another artist to color it because the price was cheaper. Of course, that's fine with me, as long as the artist know what they're doing and if they are able to make the colors right on the line art and satisfy the client with the colors.

  14. Pretty much busy working on a new film poster artwork for a client for over 2 weeks now, and I'm exhausted already.

  15. What the different between Freelancing and selling art on DeviantArt?

Here is a Pro and Cons about being a freelance artist under company rules:
    Pros
    :
    1. Being your own boss.
    2. Doing whatever you can do without being told what to do or not to do.
    3. Getting a $20 tip from some return buyers? Congratulation!
    4. Pausing your gigs, so you can have a few days break or away on vacation.
    5. Set a limit on orders in queue to create less stressful.
    6. Wear any clothes whatever you want when working from home without worries about your boss smelling you.
    7. No dress code.

    Cons:
    1. You have to spend hours a day working on the artwork during the time started count-down before make a delivery.
    2. Sometime you don't always get commission from all different clients who come across your gigs.
    3. You will never know what going to happen, sooner or later your account will may be ban for breaking the Company's Terms of Service.
    4. The company will always side with the buyers/clients. Not you (as a seller).
    5. You get scam most of the times from shady buyers when they disputed an order for refund via Customer Support after half way complete the project.
    6. Your account get permanently restricted for working outside of the company which is goes against the company's policy. I mean, it's a good things to work inside of the company rules! So the two of you don't have to create a Mexican standoff between you and the buyer.
    7. You cannot have more than 1 account.
    8. Dealing with impatient buyers, threatening to dispute the order for a refund.
    9. When your account get permanently restricted, you can never create another account to freelance ever. Ever. Your whole online career is pretty much done. Time for you to move on, find a job.
    10. Company take some of your earnings after complete delivery to a buyer.
    11. Dealing with angry buyers threaten you to Customer Support to get your account restricted.

Pro as an artist on DeviantArt.
    1. Sell your art through Premium download with whatever price you want!
    2. Sit back, relax, watch movie or playing video game while buyers and fans downloading your art prints and Premium art with whatever price you created.
    3. People will keep coming back to buy your art on your DeviantArt store when you're away on vacation.
    4. Feel good about being. Your. Own. Boss!
    5. Get commissions from all different buyers with whatever you set up.
    6. Create many commissions with price as much as you want for the buyers to place an order.
    7. Create many Tiers (Subscribers) as you wanted and you can charge them $6.99 - $19.99/month. Tier is a good place for your subscribers to join for a lounge hangout, chat, etc.
    8. Create your own group for your fans.
    9. Having a system NFT protect got your back, and protecting your art without worries about thief try to steal it for profit on NFT sites.
    10. DeviantArt doesn't take few of your earnings for themselves. The money is all yours! Cool, right?
    11. Create journal updates for your fans.
    12. Post status update to keep your fans update about your art or your story.
    13. You can have 1 or 2 more accounts on DeviantArt, as personal such as buying art or for selling art and commission work.
    14. You may share your art to only those friends you only wanted to share. No one else can see it unless you send them a link of your Sta.sh.
    15. Withdraw money from PayPal and/or Bitpay to your bank account.

    Cons:
    1. The site is confused if you're new to DeviantArt.
    2. Not able to sell your art unless you pay $9.95/month for a Pro membership.
    3. No NFT Protection for your art without a Core or Pro membership.
    4. Have to wait for few days for DeviantArt to processing your earnings after you completed a delivery to buyers. It happen to me a lot, so I never withdraw my money anyway.

  16. I'm surprised some artist (on DeviantArt) are getting confused with LLC license when submit the artwork on the site. When the artist mentioned that someone stole her art and she couldn't do anything about it, then turned to DeviantArt staff for help. But she was told that they couldn't do about it either, because she didn't turned on the LLC option before submitted the artwork on the site, just right before a thief grabbed it for profit on NFT site.

This is why the artist should always put a checkmark on "LLC license" as a Default via Publishing Option which is mean no one can use without Creative Commons License. This is why I turned off Download options and put dA's watermark as well for every of my artwork I upload on DeviantArt site! This is why this make it harder for thief to grab it.

  17. I understand it cheaper to buy [stolen] art from a site whatever a thief sold it to you, but once the original artist like myself shut them down with DMCA take down action, …your art becoming useless, because you do not have a proper commercial license to use it. Your art will always a counterfeit. And fake. Because the artwork still has the artist’s watermark on it.

If you want to use the artwork for your book, game, music or for personal use — then buy it from the original artist on DeviantArt, Fiverr or Etsy. Not from someone who sold you cheaper. It is like when someone couldn’t afford a $1,500 iPhone from Apple but decided to buy a $200 counterfeit ripoff iPhone from a black market.

This is why piracy such as pirated version of Adobe programs, film, music, pirated games, stolen art and counterfeit become a big problem today in America.

  18. Autumn Misery is a legends. The story of a lonely young girl living in the woods. She was the daughter of Rosbes, an Elven Queen who were killed by a Dragon King during the war between men, Elven and dwarves and orcs. Her mother hid her away on the little boat floating into river to the forest and was picked up by the beautiful mother Grizzly with two of her cubs. They raised her.

She lived in the woods all her life with the wild animals as well with Snow Wolves, Grizzley, Snow Rabbits and Snow Eagles. She was also a best friends with two silly little fairies too when she found them locked up in the bird cage before they were feed to the vultures by the pirates.

  20. "The Dwarves used to said they heard someone singing an Elegy song through this forest. They were wrong. I walked through by following the lake, water flowing under the bridge where it lead me to witness a beautiful Elven woman playing a flute for her deceased husband. I can felt sadness through her. Her face tell it all with such anger in her. The sadness on her face when she playing a flute as she sitting on the tree log in front of her husband's grave.

I can feel the winds blowing to my face when she playing a flute. Luckily she didn't see me because I hid in the green leaf bushes with this silly Dwarf next to me.

This forest. I don't know. No one ever tell me what forest this is, excepted a Dwarf I spoke to at the Inn. Keeper. He said this song called Arcus. I mean, what was this mean? I never get a chance to ask a village folk what does Arcus really mean..."

  21. Whenever I'm not doing commission art. I enjoy creating art to entertainment myself when I'm bored.

    What is entertainment art?
Entertainment art is known as Entertainment Design which is relatively new field combing animation, game design, and concept art for film and television use.

I create whatever art that will entertainment myself and others; especially those who enjoy viewing the art and curious what was the background story behind the artwork. It's like you're reading a book. Watching film/show.

In Sarah's world of "The Last Stand: Vengeance", I will post more to following her story; a journey during the post-apocalyptic most brutal world where she have to live through everyday to stay alive and survive from the horde of infected, the gangs, the threat of other groups, road bandits, the sick (people who are sick in the head), murderers (mostly from psychopaths or criminally insane people who pose as a hitchhikers), a group of religious cults, Scavengers and the Hunters (the cannibal).

She was at least later found Brian (who is her long time companion), her most trusted after he got her escaped from the gas station where she was trapped inside when the horde of infected trying to break into the gas station where Sarah trying to barricade herself and block the main doors.

Brian is the former retired U.S. Marine and he was supposed to station in Maine before everything went down. And the U.S. National Guards failed to maintain evacuation after been overruns by the horde of infected. However, Brian and 3 other U.S. Army National Guards men and women including a 3 civilians were the only survivors escaped from the camp where the C.D.C. and the National Guards station there to treated the patients, but no one alive.

The only important to Sarah is to find her younger brother Alex, who is 18 years old. He has been gone missing for a month at the summer camp with his school, on the trip that day before everything went down. He is the only brother she has now. And he is now more important to Sarah. The good things is that Brian will always go along with Sarah, make sure she's safe. But she wasn't a type of a woman Brian thinks who need any protection from any men.

Well, I'm still working on creating Sarah character artwork along with Brian and Alex. So Sarah's parents as well.

  22. "Vengeance" comic character portrait art by Danny Kojima

This is a story of Sarah, the main female protagonist character who was lost in the most brutal post-apocalyptic world all by herself, after the virus spreading across the world and everything went down.

During the aftermath, Sarah was the only survivor traveling on her father's Harley Davidson motorcycle he left it for her in the garage before he died. After Sarah buried her father in the backyard of their home, she travel across the country road to looking for her brother Alex in Auburn county, a small town in California which was over taken by the infected.

She have seen a lot of things happening in her neighbors and saw her own mother turned into an infected after she was bitten.

Sarah was a survivor, and a loner, but she has combat and surviving skills after accidentally ran into a trap and killed two infected. She also killed few bandits who tried to rob her. Of course, killed the same man -- the leader who killed her father who was a police officer.

I'm planning to work on another version of Sarah, with full body character concept art with her holding the crossbow (one of her favorite weapon). The new concept art of Sarah will be post once the art is complete. And also, the character artwork of Alex (her younger brother) and Brian, the man who saved Sarah from trapped into the gas station when infected trying to eat her.
