  1. I found it in the seller help center: https://sellers.fiverr.com/en/article/promoted-gigs Pay with your Fiverr Balance No upfront payments. Instead, your Fiverr Balance will be charged retroactively each month for your ads’ activity of the previous month. So next month you can use the $10 promo to get the amount deducted from your monthly bill.
  2. That’s cheap 😮 Why is it so expensive for me? No it doesn’t stop automatically, but after you’ve spent $10 in total which in your case would be after 5 days, you can use the promo-code I think. I don’t think the costs will be deducted daily but maybe they accumulate over a certain period of time?
  3. Yep! Though I can’t decide whether I’m happy with the pricing. I know advertising costs are similar on Etsy for example but it does seem a little high. Considering one click costs up to 1 dollar I think. 1 Click isn’t going to do a lot for you.
  4. It does seem like the feature makes the site unstable somehow, every now and then it works, then it’s down again. It works for me if I just stay away from the promoted gig page and my analytics. I noticed the 404 page looked odd but I couldn’t tell if it was an old or new version 😃
  5. There it just lets me put in my credit card information and says my balance is the primary payment method. But yeah I think this has to do with the fact that I am only bidding now, I didn’t actually get the sponsored spot yet.
  6. promotion page and gift1426×698 64 KBI can’t tell, it says $0 in gifts. I think it might change after 1 day has passed.
  7. Yeah it’s supposed to be a discount, but I’m not sure how it works either.
  8. Fiverr is down for me sooo, that’s a good sign! 😃
  9. Just be careful with this - my understanding is that the recommended amount is your bid amount, not your daily spend. My recommended bid for example is $0.34, and my daily cap is $5. So I can ‘afford’ about 15 clicks per day, which is the amount I’m willing to test with, until I see if this generates results. Screenshot 2020-09-07 at 11.18.091436×632 18.9 KBYeah I don’t think I received the $10 off either, but maybe that’s because I picked $5 as a cap? So technically after 2 days with 16 clicks in total I would have spent $10 on ads. Perhaps that’s when the code can be activated. But if we bid on an advertised spot, the $0.66 should only start applying when we actually do get the sponsored spot right?
  10. I will! Though I’m somewhat scared of the costs that come with this type of marketing.
  11. I just received a notification saying I was chosen to test the paid promotion feature with $10 off. I think a lot of people might be interested in this feature so I might keep this updated to see how it works. Though I’m not 100% sure how much I am actually allowed to share regarding this feature. Quickly about me in case this matters: I’m Level 2, more or less close to meeting the requirements for a top rated seller. They auto-selected my best selling gig as the one to be promoted. As far as I can see, you need to bid against all the other eligible sellers in your category to “win” the ad-sponsored spot: “A bid is a maximum amount you’d be willing to pay per click on your ad. The higher the bid, the higher the chances to win your ad spot. However, you’ll pay just the minimum to win over other bids. You can adjust your bid from your Promoted Gigs dashboard later.” They also set a “recommended amount” per day for you. For me it’s $0.66 per day based on my category it seems. This would probably mean that sellers in smaller niches would be rewarded by lower fees while oversaturated categories would probably cost more since more sellers would be able to bid.
  12. You should have a look at his review first before trying to get it removed. The review will be visible on your profile after 10 days anyways if you don’t write a review for your buyer.
  13. Well, are you offering unlimited revisions in the order? Then yes. You’re going to have to deal with it.
  14. Once you have delivered the order, the counter doesn’t count for revisions anymore. So if you have revisions to do, the order can’t run late because the initial delivery was made in time.
  15. That doesn’t seem right to me. Isn’t your gmail account associated with another mail account? If I forgot my gmail password for example, they automatically send me the password reset form to the other mail address that I filled in when creating the gmail account. I can’t imagine gmail makes you wait for 3-5 days if someone hacked you, then immediate actions are needed.
  16. Why don’t you try to get your gmail account back first? That seems to me like a more important step. If they can’t access your gmail account anymore, you can change your fiverr password and avoid any further orders being made through your account.
  17. You’re welcome, good luck! 🙂
  18. Quick update: After posting this, I checked the search again and my Gig slipped down into the second row of the search results. After refreshing the site a few moments later, my gig was back up on the 1st place. I assume that was the algorithm’s doing, recalculating where to rank my gig. So my best guess is that changing gig prices / delivery time AND description does not actually affect your ranking for more than a few minutes. Though offering a quicker delivery may have made my gig more attractive to the algorithm because it ranks gigs with a faster turnaround higher.
  19. Hey everyone! So I’ve just been brave and edited my best-selling gig which was on the first spot in the search when I used a specific search term. I’ve seen a lot of sellers in the forum say they would like to edit their gigs but they are afraid to lose their ranking and so I thought it was interesting to share what happened to my gig’s ranking. First of all, I searched for my unedited gig to confirm it was still in the same place as it was yesterday. Then I went ahead and changed my delivery time and added a gig extra. Interestingly, I did notice that now you can add the extra fast delivery option to only one or two gig packages, so I could offer the basic with a 1 day delivery and set the delivery time for the other two packages to 3 and 4 days but I could still offer 1 day delivery for these two. I don’t know if that’s a new feature or whether I just did it wrong all this time before but I thought this was really cool and worth mentioning! So, right after editing delivery time and gig extras, I had a look at the search results again and my gig was still on the first place in the search with the updated parts. My gig did not disappear temporarily, it did not affect the ranking. Then I went back and changed the description of my gig and the FAQ and checked the search results once again immediately after making changes. Again, my gig did not disappear from the search results temporarily. But my gig went from the first spot to the third, so it was still shown in the same row of gigs. In conclusion, I think this shows that editing your prices and delivery times as well as gig extras will not affect your gig’s ranking but changing the description does. Before, changes to the gig description needed to be checked manually by Fiverr, which may have resulted in your gig temporarily being removed from the search, however, this does not seem to be the case anymore. I didn’t check if there would be any consequences to changing my tags, so I can’t say much about that. So, if you have been thinking about changing something about your gig, this might be a good time to do so.
  20. It did happen to others, though, especially those who have been here longer. Sometimes even a month later, or longer. You just haven’t experienced it yet. I’ve been working on Fiverr for 3 years by now. I’m not saying nobody experiences it, I just said I haven’t.
  21. You can’t really favourite sellers but you can favourite their gigs through the gig description page if that helps you. Also, regarding the discussion above about the review time. I don’t recall ever receiving a single review after the order has automatically been accepted. If the buyer doesn’t leave a review within 3 days I am 100% sure I won’t get any review for this order whatsoever.
