  1. I am having the same issue. I bought a brand new laptop, and I have been trying for last couple of days to open my fiverr account, but it’s not opening properly. I have tried the CS services as well, they provide me some tips, but did not work out. I had this issue before on other laptop as well. Then I sold that laptop. Because no one knows solution to this issue. It took me more than three months to become a level 1 seller, and when finally I achieved this target. Now my fiverr account is not opening. I att screenshot as well.

  3. @miiila you nailed it… “but honestly I think it all comes down to being attentive, to being fast, to doing good work” That’s it.
  4. I have been reading the same thing again and again i.e uploading video. Well, I might give it a shot.
  5. Common pal. Why make a fun of him? All of us used to have a broken English ones except native speakers. I’m damn sure, if you comment a few lines, I or a little bird will point out your achilles heel as well. So MR.English, do not beat bout the bush, and be positive
  6. Well, that’s probably your fault. If you choose a newbie with no skills, whom fault it would be? Why do not you choose a person with a couple of reviews, so that you can place your order and get your work done without any hesitation. Moreover, you will never know what is copied and what is pasted into the logo. If a real designer designs you a logo. And that’s why a designer is a designer and a buyer is a buyer. You chose the naive seller. That’s your fault may be. You should have chosen the right and talented one.
  7. Well, that’s probably difficult to overcome. Naive sellers will come along the way, so do skeevy buyers, but as far I am concerned; if the buyer takes an advantage of my skills, and that’s because I’m a newbie here. Ofcourse I will have to serve him happily and whatever he asks me to do, I’ll, but guess what? I’ll keep this in my mind? And when I get the chance, I won’t give a d**** sh** to buyers except good ones. Because I have devoted my time to fiverr in order to become a successful seller not a puppet. Many sellers including talented and naive give up. Why? Major reasons; competition is in full swing, manipulation and austintation of buyers, lack of skills of sellers. I’m strong enough thou that I’m still here and became a level one seller after three months. That’ because I did not give up. I went thru all the hard times I have given by the buyers so far. I have created 6 logos for $5. I have spent 3 days on one logo for $5. Why? Do you think I’m naive? No I’m not. I have over a half decade of experience in designing, but that’s the austination and manipulation of buyers I’m talking bout. Anyways, it was good talking to you. It takes two to make a quarrel. Talented and skillful sellers get manipulated in the beginning by skeevy buyers, and good buyers experience naive sellers in first. That’s all I can say. Finally, you seem like a high ups. I shall appreciate your time spending here on my post. It’s good to talk to such people and know bout their experiences on fiverr.
  8. It seems like you’re good at writing stories. Basically I do not understand either you’re a buyer or a seller, because I went thru your profile, it seems like you used to be a seller ones not too long ago, but a few months may be. So what I’m suppose to believe that you’re telling the truth or making a lame excuses or writing some fantasy stories or having nothing else to do just trying to do your timepass?
  9. Yes, I agree with you to some extent, because I did not say that all the buyer are the same or all of them are manipulating new sellers. I have clearly mentioned that every second buyer does this, and that’s true. Personally I’m a designer. I have made my gigs very simple. In the basic package I have offered two concepts for logos, which means that I am suppose to provide two logos to the buyer so that he can easily pick his choice. If he is not gonna like it and wants a specific design instead. Then do not you think it would be better to discuss with the designer bout his logo and elaborate him what he actually wants rather than placing his order on $5 gig’s package?
  10. Well, I’m sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience, but here is the thing; what kind of design would you expect from a designer for only $5? There are logos which take a minute to create, and there are logos which take more than 12 hours to create. Do you think that a designer is gonna spend 12 hours for your logo to create only for $5? Well, no I do not think so. If you’re after a complicated and classy logo you better increase your price, and communicate with the designer by sending him a sample first, and discuss with him that how long would it take to create a similar design. And what could be its price? That’s the right way may be. After that you can make up your mind and place the order. However that’s totally unfair if the designer has mentioned on his gig to create a logo for only $5, and you place your order to get a complicated logo which takes hours to create. Obviously there will be specification in that $5 package. Alternatively, there are standard and premium packages, why not choose one of them instead, if you expect a designer to spend hours on your logo?
  11. Communication would probably get half of your work done to convince the buyer, but some times communication does not work either, because buyers hardly reply, and write only one or two lines. And if you write them to much, they will say in the feedback that the person is good at writing essays.
  12. It’s been more than a week that I became a level one seller, and there is no single order I have got so far. What shall I do in this situation? Shall I increase the price or decrease may be? Although, the prices mentioned on my gigs are pretty reasonable.
  13. Well, that’s true. To be patient when you’re a newbie.
  14. I was gonna read this, but it’s too much sweetie and may be a lil difficult to understand for me because I’m not a native speaker. Why do not you make a long story short? Gradually I’m becoming your fan by the way.
  15. Be patient, it will be posted soon within next couple of hours. FYI, yes they do review every single post before approving it.
  16. Yaay, that was pretty clear. May be you’re right. We should go to CS against such a buyers.
  17. You’re a level two seller, and yet you dunno how to withdraw fiverr’s money? Weird! Well, okay, let’s get cut to the chase do you have account in any bank of Pakistan? If yes, then you can simply transfer it to your bank. Go to fiverr setting, and choose the option bank transfer, put your account number etc, and when you have at least $60 in your fiverr account, you can transfer it to your bank, or may be more than $60. I think there are $20 charges per transfer to a local bank in pakistan. Alternatively, do not you have payoneer master card, you can simply withdraw from MCB, they deduct 200RS per transaction.
  18. I would agree with this this post, but here is the thing, if a newbies really work hard and sent their offers to buyers on a daily basis, I’m pretty sure they will get the chance. All of us use to be new ones, didn’t we? Ofcourse yes! And now here we are, some of us became level 2 and top rated seller, some of us are stucked in level 1, and many of us just wasted their time. I still remember when I joined fiverr, and read a every possible article I could, then sent my offers to buyers everyday. As a matter of fact, I still do. And here I am to become a level one seller soon hopefully. I have already created 10 orders so far, and been active on site for last couple of months, now just waiting to be promoted. The bottom line is, don’t waste your time here and there, instead, concentrating on your gigs would probably help.
