Soooo why did you pick Fiverr out of all other platforms? I'll go first!

i'm on other platforms too. some of these platforms have become so big that one would be outright crazy to have no experience with them.

Completely agree, but I have a doubt it's based on just one report. I expect 'one report' is just the straw that breaks the camels back, and it follows perhaps a theme of less than great private reviews, and perhaps CS/T&S also then review a number prior orders and make their decision.

Perhaps @anna_dxnr is right and nobody here knows why!

This guy just reported me falsely because he thinks we are in competition when in reality, this is a platform where we all make some money and feed our families. I am not in a competition with him, but I don't understand why he should report me falsely so that he can get the rigging gigs.

I'm really but... you can never be sure if that seller is the one who reported you. even if they are, it doesn't matter. it will help you a lot more to contact support and ask what went wrong. they have re-initiated denied gigs in the past, so there is always a chance.

I have to use free models from Maximo or buy models online, which is what I did. I bought most of my models on cgtrader.com and rigged them for my portfolio. I am currently in pain because I worked so hard to earn my reviews. I have given over 100 completed gigs a 5 star rating. Therefore, I have the following query: Can't I submit my rigging portfolio using the models I've purchased and received for free from Maximo after i did the rigging for my portfolio?

as far as I know, it is okay to use the models, images, and other creatives if you have the proper rights to do so! best to look into the fine print and see if your purchase comes with commercial rights and stuff.

best to contact CS for a case-specific answer though.

I have 2k reviews with 4.9 rating and I don't know how i am delivery low quality work!

(I checked your account again, and, unfortunately, your account is not eligible to be restored due to having been flagged by the system as delivering low-quality work to buyers. )

maybe, ask them which exact deliveries were flagged for low quality!?

I want to see if there is a general trend in decreasing the traffic on Fiverr as a whole and therefore having less business on the platform for most people because it's July and August.

a lot of site-wide info can easily be found online. though, maybe, not as current as the last month.

here is an example - https://www.similarweb.com/website/fiverr.com/#overview

Can anybody tell me how this happed how can i avoid this in future?

it's best to keep all the conversation within the order chat. there is no reason to message them in the inbox. just to be on the safe side, send another message asking for the OTP in the very chat so.. the T&S team will be able to see why you were contacting the buyer. good luck!

but no order what should i do now ?

    1. your gig titles are too long and get redacted. so the first step would be to shorten them.
    2. if editing the titles doesn't fix the CTR, edit the gig image and try different styles on different gigs.

    at least...

it takes a while before you can create the perfect gig. so take it as a learning experience and don't let it discourage you. keep up the great work.

    cheers! 🎇

  8. hi Mia,

I'm sorry for the ultra-delayed response.

I see that you now have an order in queue. so that's the best. and all the powers to you.

I don't even know what to do. Can't even withdraw the money from pioneer into my bank account because it is not up to $50.

PayPal doesn't have the $50 limit. try that, maybe?

    keep up the great work.

I felt that there is a need to build a digital in-house on Fiverr's platform separately,

ClearVoice, owned by 5r, does it already. and their pay isn't as good as 5r.

the problem is it will pose too much risk for 5r. they will then be responsible both for the outcomes of the projects and to pay their freelancers regardless. likes of Uber are already facing these problems.

the current model, on the other hand, requires none.

How can i get started on fiverr please

you have received two reviews already and that's great.

here are a few tips though -

    gig title:

    1. create or record instead of doing a dance video
    2. don't repeat the same phrase 'tik tok dance'. it won't help one bit.
    3. don't write headings like ABOUT THIS GIG. fiverr does that already.

    gig description:

    1. your gig description is kind of empty. they're in the right place... so what? keep it short, but offer something.
    2. 5r allows sharing YT and vim*o links in gig description. you can use them as portfolio.
    3. if you can create unique dance steps aka choreograph new trends, offer those.
    4. create gigs targeting other platforms like IG, YT, etc.

    video:

    1. you offer multiple dancers in higher packages, so maybe, include some in your sample vids as well?
    2. edit the video and preview image? check successful gigs in your categories to understand what works.

none of these are guaranteed to help so try at your own risk.

    keep up the great work.

any tips or suggestions to get leads?

don't let the out-of-context replies ruin your day.

Fiverr works on a platform model. you get views or impressions that your gig may or may not convert into sales or leads. so the answer would be to target your gig towards the buyers you want to work with!

the articles in help center are more than enough to help you create the best gig on 5r.

I believe, give or not to give is a choice. Some people give and some people don’t. Please be polite and understand

it's funny because most sellers already have samples on their gigs.

I personally don't see the point to it. samples rarely offer any real insights. there is a very little chance a sample would match the exact tone or voice a client is looking for...  so what's the point?

I'm just lost right now, because I don't know if I just lost my main income stream ($1,500+ monthly), or what's going on... I'd be lucky to get a DM even, I came from getting 3-5 DMs a day to just 0-1. My guess is that people are seeing other people with perfect 5 stars and go to them instead of me, because they assume that because I don't have perfect 5 stars, I'm like a bad developer or something.

I find it hard to believe you're making anywhere close to 1.5K per month with this account. the part of the problem is having a main source of income. there is no security when you're working for yourself. your only option is to create multiple sources and make sure the largest one doesn't contribute more than 20-40%. ever.

in short, don't create the problem that you fear so much. diversify.

it's made me very very paranoid about getting ratings that's not 5 stars and my anxiety hits so hard when it's time to leave orders, because you just never know what they'll rate.

there is no way to avoid negative stars forever. everyone will get them, if not today, then tomorrow.

if you really want to ensure your client is super satisfied before you deliver, send a preview in the order message and wait for their response. but the strategy has its own downsides.

Is it ever possible to get back to a perfect 5 star rating?

don't even try. 4.8 vs 5 star makes no difference. and those who see a difference there, you don't want to be working with them. these are the buyers who will rate you 3 or 4 stars.

    notes -

    1. compare your stats to last month, not last week. I don't see much of a dip there.
    2. buyers only see the gig ratings before clicking on it. not profile ratings.
    3. stress won't help you one bit. use the downturn to create strategies, other income sources, etc.
    4. my gig impressions go down whenever I buy something on 5r. but it's a personal experience and I have no proofs.
    5. you're actually doing great for a new seller. keep up the great work.

offer them a small pro-bono task that doesn't cost a lot.

Isn't pro bono technically considered free?

yep, offer to pay a small fee for something they'd do pro bono. it's not always possible to come up with tests.

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and it's likely that this issue must have been raised before but I couldn't find it. How do you deal with Fiverr's communication policy being in favor of scammers. Almost anyone can claim to be from another country and there is almost no way to know the truth until after receiving the finished and your time was already wasted

I think Fiverr has it stated somewhere. the simplest solution is to test.

offer them a small pro-bono task that doesn't cost a lot. if they don't deliver as specified, you can ask customer support to cancel the order. If they deliver as specified but you don't like their style, you can always move on with minimal loss.

if you have funds available, you can test multiple sellers at a time. the choice is yours.

p.s. not all sellers will agree to a test order tho.

Though it depends what they are being ranked for. They could mean ranked on the top page of their subcategory - in which case they'd be competing with no more than around 246,000 gigs max (about the number of gigs in the subcategory with the most active gigs - logo design). But they could mean ranked for their keywords, in which case they would also not be competing with every gig on Fiverr - just those that would be returned by a search on those keywords (though that still might be many thousands). If they used low competition keywords they might have more chance of being ranked higher for searches for those.

for example, keywords like 'shopify toy store' have 342 results overall --

"the man of knowledge must be able not only to love his enemies but also to hate his friends."

I'll counter this one with a quote from Anton LaVey, who interestingly enough, was inspired by Nietzsche.

Why should I not hate mine enemies―if I "love" them does that not place me at their mercy?

I didn't know we were supposed to counter quotes with quotes but aight...

"I choose my friends for their good looks, my acquaintances for their good characters, and my enemies for their good intellects."

"Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much."

    ― Oscar Wilde

"in time we hate that which we often fear."

    ― William Shakespeare

    and

"of all the liars of the world, sometimes the worst are our own fears."

    ― Rudyard Kipling

    quite a misquote unfortunately.

it is from none of his works. and there are no sources available.

    https://philosophy.stackexchange.com/questions/47732/did-nietzsche-actually-say-or-write-sometimes-people-dont-want-to-hear-the-tr

the closest similarity that I can remember would be from the early chapters of Thus Spake Zarathustra. but that was about contempt, not truth.
