Has there been a recent change to the Custom Offer system?

I’ve had my gig on pause for awhile, but have been working in Custom Offers flawlessly with one client. I’ve had the gig on pause because too many people were ordering while I was trying to finish my client’s high priority projects. (And as far as I know, if someone orders something, you don’t get a choice but to take it on right away) But today when I sent a custom offer to the client, he said it only took him to my page and he couldn’t accept because the gig was paused. Has something changed overnight? Guess I’ll have to unpause and pause again once he accepts…
