How long for an account to be deactivated?

I was wondering if any of you good people can help.

I am trying to set up my first gigs but cannot verify because my number is associated to a different account. I think I sniffed out the account they’re referring to and deleted it, but I still can’t verify. Is there a set period I’d have to wait?
