Buyer ask for guarantee levy

Is it recommended for a buyer to ask guarantee levy? I've been given a project to fulfill and the buyer requires to me to send money as a guarantee levy till I complete the project then I will be refunded on successful completion and be paid.

There is no reason to deposit to buyer for guarantee. Also, Fiverr never encourage to follow this.

I can say that your buyer is trying to scam you.
