Being online doesn't affect anything unfortunately. Check out the gig of whoever told you this tip. I am pretty sure they themselves doesn't have any orders. 🤷‍♂️

This "online" thing is nonsense that is being spammed all over the forum.

Suggest you use the word "contact" instead of "knock" in your communications as that will come across as more professional.

Do you realize that Fiverr shows us online even when we are sleeping? You do not need to be online to get orders. You do need good English grammar and punctuation in your profile and gig description. Plus, your gig images need to attract buyers.

improve your gig image , gig title gig SEO. and send buyer request.
