Can you delete/pause a gig that has an inactive order on it?

Question

I have a buyer who made an order a few months ago, but never submitted requirements or went through with the project. Now, I want to delete the gig and create a new one in a different category. I already paused the gig. But would deleting or leaving the gig paused be a bad idea? Would it could as a cancellation or do something negative to my account?

You can ask Customer Support to cancel the order without it affecting your stats. I have done so in the past and explained to them I have made fairly enough follow ups to consider that the buyer mistakenly placed the order.

If the gig had some reviews and good feedback, it would be better to just revamp and freshen up the gig. As having established some good feedback on your services would definitely help with potential buyers making a decision on working with you.

But that depends ultimately on you! If you're easily able to make new clients or you have established repeat clients then making a new gig would be fine 🙂
