Fiver location fraud

I am looking for a designer that [actually] lives in the US. Without one outlier every US based designer I’ve contacted is from India. Does anyone have an Idea if fiverr does any validation and is there a way to “really” identify US based creatives?

If you choose a designer with a Pro gig, they have all been vetted by Fiverr.

Alternatively, raise the base price you are prepared to pay towards a US living wage and you should have more success in gaining US based freelancers.
