I'm trying to figure out how all of this freelancing work means and its implications. But it's easy to get overwhelmed with so many rules one must follow. This is happening within and outside of fiverr. For example:

Yesterday, I was helping out another developer on Reddit. I told him hey I can possibly help you out, let's have a Zoom call and I can give you some free consulting and sent him a link to my website. When I woke up the next day, my comment was removed by mods for advertising.

I didn't do it with the intention of advertising, I was just offering a helping hand, but I see the mod took it the wrong way. So If anyone has any advice on how to get your name around without necessarily doing advertising, I'd love to hear it.

I would like to know what do other sellers think about college students that offer their services on fiverr. I think it's a good idea because it can offer flexible hours with decent income. I'm still trying to learn how all of this work, but I feel confident I can provide a quality service that clients will enjoy.
