  1. Personally I do not ask for specific review(such as good review) , but when I deliver my final delivery I always add ⬇️

"If everything is satisfactory, please remember to leave a review.

Great working with you, thank you! Hope we work again soon. :D".

If they don't leave a review, I just leave it and move on to the next project. 🙂

  2. Today, again a buyer asked me to send my downloadable voice samples to him/her.🙃

Personally I would not send my samples to them because I like my samples not to be stolen and use. In the opposite side, I provide samples in my gig and my YouTube channel which are totally free to listen and share. I also provide a $5 test paid.

After telling the buyer, the buyer questioned me why people will steal my samples? Is it valuable? It just a self-introducing video. And blah blah… In the end, the buyer said he/she doesn’t want it anymore.

First, some people does steal work. Everyone has the rights to choose give or not to give samples before place order. It doesn’t mean you ask and others “must” give.

Second, is it valuable?… I found this question is quite funny. If it’s not valuable, why would you want it and show it to your clients?

Third, in my gigs and YouTube, I put many samples in it. Self-introducing video is just only one of it. This means you did not look through all the information I had in my gigs.

I believe, give or not to give is a choice. Some people give and some people don’t. Please be polite and understand.

I'm afraid that adding anything to FAQ will work with this problem of yours.

the easiest way to handle this is,

    1. Add Gig extras for Extra Revisions
    2. At the beginning of the Order, let your client know about your revision policy. be very polite and explain it to them. be careful Not To sound like you are running after money for extra revisions!
    3. if a customer asks for revisions after order completion anyway, well.... you don't have any option if it gets to this stage. Rather than risking a negative review, see what you can do about it, do it and then explain...

But always be very clear about,

    • WHAT YOU DELIVER
    • and WHAT YOU DO NOT DELIVER

At the beginning of the Order! that way I guess you'll be able to avoid this in the future!

wish you all the best and take care! 😀

    -Harry

Thank you Harry for your suggest. 😄

All the best to you too.🥰 🥰

I think in this situation you can simply ask the buyer that the changes they are asking for were not in the scope of work hence I'll have to charge you a small fee.

You can also let the buyer know that I don't provide after-service. if you think that the client is impolite then what you did is right.

The review phobia is preety bad, to be honest.

    Thank you for your comment.

Super agree with the "The review phobia is preety bad", hopefully review time can be shorten to "review within 24 hours."

So you decided to work for free out of fear of a negative review. I'm afraid that letting your buyers bully you into freebies will only have one consequence: they will ask for more freebies. It's an evil circle.

Like you said: it's the third time this has happened.

If I were you, I would stand my ground and tell the buyer that the order is completed. For this reason, you will have to charge for any additional work that wasn't in the scope of the original order. If the buyer refuses, I'd take the negative review and respond to it, explaining what happened professionally.

This has two effects (well, besides fewer orders for a little while).

    1) The buyer you said no to will most likely follow proper procedures next time (or not order from you again, in which case, I'd be happy either way)

    2) Other buyers inclined to pressure and bully sellers into free work can read your response to the review. They will instantly know you aren't about to let anyone push you around.

In the end, you have established boundaries and learned to say "no." It might land you a negative review, but unless you're brand new and have very few reviews, I wouldn't worry too much about it. It's better than getting into a bad habit of letting others exploit you, that's for sure.

    Thank you for your comment.

After reading your comment, I noticed I had let my fear lead me. Thank you helping me to realize it.

After few days has passed, today the buyer reach out to me again and want me to re-record all whole project and submit to her within the same day. The buyer even send me "how to record audio" video.

Never mind. I will block the buyer later~

But you know, review affects buyers eye always. Isn't there any way to remove that bad review from the sellers profile? Like explaining the cs ,what happend and why you need to remove that bad review?!!!!

    Thank you for your question.

  5. Recently there are some buyers keep asking me for revisions after they received and closed the order. (Same buyer and is already the third time...And it starts to irritate me)

They did not leave a review yet and now they are still in the period of 10 days to leave a review.

Without taking risk of getting a negative review, I decided to leave the buyer a "friendly reminder" and tell them 'I do it for you this time only. Please do check before receive or close the order. You can ask for extend delivery time if you need to wait for your client’s approvals. If any further changes or requests need in the future on this project, I will create an offer and charge for it.'

I would like to avoid this situation in the future so I had added "A friendly reminder" in my FAQ but I guess there'll be some buyers are "too busy" to read through all.

Is there any better solution for this situation? Very appreciate if have any suggestion!!!!!!💕💕💕💕💕

It's because your gig out from different searching algo.

Sometimes it happens when your gig active but disqualified because of quality [as Fiverr suggested]. If your single gig disqualified it affects on whole account gigs, and they all disappear and kicked back to the end of searching pages.

    It's Fiverr end bug.

Normally gig disqualified/qualified 2,4,8,18 date of every month.

    Excepting wait, no solution.

Hi @ubun97! Try checking right now. All of my gigs were showing 0 for 7/1 earlier today and now they all have jumped up and show actual values for 7/1.

This seems to happen often so I don't worry if all my gigs drop down to 0. Like @theratypist mentioned, those values only update daily, so if you see zeros across the board, check again later!

It's been a long time since I've been able to get a job at Fiverr. The buyer is not responding to any message and the impression of the gig is diminishing. What is the reason for this?

Me too... My gig's impression dropped from over 50 to under 15...

Exactly same thing is happening to me for the past 3 months. I think we need to update our SEO for gigs.

Facing the same situation and I updated all SEO and gigs weeks ago, I don't know whether updating SEO for gigs will work because I keep tracking my new updated SEO or new updated gigs and the effect doesn't come yet...😟

But I think doing something is better than doing nothing.

    Wish us all the best.

  9. Hi,

Just wanna ask which voice sample you prefer? Is voice sample without background music better? Or voice sample with background music?

I am doing some adjustments and need some advises. All of my voice samples(included my gig's video) contain only my voice. (I use the "beep" sound as a 'separator.')

I did some research and noticed that most of the voice samples are voice samples with background music.

    What's your thoughts?😃

  10. Just a casual talk.

I am a left-handed person (but when doing daily things, I can also do it with right hand. I only just felt a little bit weird at the start but when I get use to it, nothing different.).

After I graduated from school, my habit of using notebooks(or writing on a book) changed.

When we start to write, usually most of the people will write on the first or second right page, right? I also wrote normally when I was in school.

But when I graduated from school, I started to write from the last or last second page on the left, specially spiral notebooks. 😂

Usually I use up all the left pages AND THEN I turn the book upside down to continue use the "right pages". So if you see my notebook, you will see two pages but one of them is upside down.🤪

My friends was super shocked when they borrow my notebooks and ask: "Why are you using the notebook from the last page?" or "Why your writing like this?"

Wonder is there any lefties use notebook like I do? Or maybe you are facing another struggles and you have a fantastic solution to it. Feel free to share your stories in the comments.🥰

  11. Sometimes I love the combination of light blue, light pink and light yellow (like macaroon color).

And sometimes I love dark color like navy blue, castleton green and etc.

I guess all depends on my feeling~ 😆

How can i send buyer request to sellers

Click on the "MORE", and you should able to see the "BUYER REQUESTS".

Click on the "BUYER REQUESTS" and you should reach to buyer requests page.

You should able send 10 offers per day. Wish you all the best.

I'm not sure, but the icon might be the problem. When I started at Fiverr, you could use lots of icons, but at some point, I couldn't use icons when I created a new Gig. Maybe put the heart somewhere in the first line already, or replace it with "<3" to see what will happen.

It might also be the case that you're over the limit, the counter might not show the correct number. If you didn't type everything into the description window, but typed your text, for example, in Word, and then pasted it into the window, that does seem to cause issues often.

If that all is fine, there's a forum category for Bug Reports, or, of course, you can ask support for help if you can't get through all the steps to publish your Gig like this.

Thank you so much for the information.🥰

After that day, in preview mode, the sentences below the heart icon also disappeared itself. I directly delete the icon and don't use it.

  14. Freelancing is my main job and I have no order in the last 2 and a half months. I feel I am so helpless. I did everything I can do(improve gigs, share on social media , etc ) , but the efforts seem not working yet. Maybe I should give it more time. While waiting, I am considering to get some super cheap budget job(still thinking).

But I felt my work is more worthy. 😖

Without thinking either the buyer want to hire you or not, will you choose a super low budget job? Or wait or find the budget job that fits you?

What's your choice? Love to hear your experiences.🥰

  15. I noticed there is a difference between my description in preview and in edit.

In preview, my description shows all I wrote but in edit sentences after "Click on the heart icon" are all disappear.

I just joined FIVERR world and i feel a bit down because I have 0 orders. it just happened to me or is it normal as a starter that I am.

I guess this happen to every single new freelance who just started freelancing.

I officially started my freelancing career Nov 2021 and now I am facing no order in the last two months...(Maybe you will also face the same problem in the future...)

When there is no order, my thoughts are sharpen your skills, continue learning and do your best.

No customer? Do something you think that can attract the customer, such as update your gig.

Keep being sad or feeling down doesn't help your freelance career. Try to do something you think that can improve yourself and I believe by improving yourself, you will not regret in the future.

All the best to you and all the freelancers. 🙂

  17. I keep getting buyers who ask the info which I already wrote in my gigs description...

At first I was thinking is my gig not details enough? After I keep updates my gigs and wrote as details as possible but the same question also exists.

For example: "I DO NOT provide any translation service. " is clearly written in my gig's description and I even wrote in below the Q&A.

Guess what~ Here's some examples in the buyer's message I met.

Buyer A: ...you will need to convert the English into Japanese in your voice...

    Buyer B: ...I need a 1. translation 2. voiceover...

Buyer C : Ok i will send you 75 words in english can you say it normally in japanese?...

    😐...

Just wonder, do buyers ever read the description? No offense! Just curious!

  18. Started Fiverr since Nov 2021.

I can say Fiverr is a good platform for freelancing but need to aware of buyers want free works...

Met a lot of buyers who want free work or super low cheap price even though I had already set my price at quite low range price and they even want me to work more cheaper...

I could not accept their "super low price" so I refuse their invitations...

Turning down these buyers, I ended up no order last month... 😅

Hopefully my freelancing will go well and gets more orders from now on~~~😉

Wish every freelancer on Fiverr all the best!~
