  1. Welcome. I have just visited your profile and here are some things you need to work on. You need to improve your gig description. Write about your experience and why should they hire you because there are already so many pixel artists here. Add some FAQ questions.2.Add some more images for your portfolio. Create few more gigs as this will improve your chance of visibility in Fiverr search result but those gigs should be around same category. If possible, create a gig video where you introduce yourself and your service. There are lots of resources you will find here on this forum to improve your gig. Best of Luck.
  2. Actually, you said ‘share’ first, and then backtracked to say ‘provide value’. If you want to make this clearer, then: (Yes, I deleted the last two lines. The example was merged into the previous sentence and the ‘You got the point. Right?’ sounds either too uppity or lacking in confidence.) I think you are over analyzing it now.
  3. Short version: “Share on social media” is not the same as “create an established social media presence”. Longer version can be read in that link I shared in my previous post. It’s important to share to places and people who are your target market, and even more importantly to not-spam. It’s a fine line, and most freelancers who don’t know anything about marketing are likely to take your words, your advice, verbatim. (A part of Fiverr’s ToS is to not break a third-party’s ToS, and if a newcomer spams, they risk getting banned if they’re reported.) imagination7413: Short version: “Share on social media” is not the same as “create an established social media presence”. I clearly mentioned that to provide value first and then its useful to share your your gigs on social media and secondly you share your gigs on social media to let your friends and family know about your work not to spam them.
  4. Thanks eliiclaire. I will look into it.
  5. Nope. Don’t do that. I take issue with number 4, too. fiverr.com/support/articles/360010490438-The-How-Tos-Of-Advertising-Off-The-Fiverr-Platform Thanks for letting me know. I have removed the point no.8 but I don’t understand where is the problem in number 4? Can you explain it?
  6. I never realized this. I didn’t knew about this policy. I’m going to remove point no. 8 now.
  7. Hello everyone, I have being a fiverr user for more than 8 years. I wanted to share some tips that I have learned through this journey to improve your fiverr profile. Build your profile around a single niche. Sometimes new freelancers try to add multiple niche services and think that they will increase their chances of getting new clients but that’s not true. There is no bidding system. This is just like a search engine where you look for a specific service for your need. And fiverr pushes those profiles up which are experts in that specific field. Add a good thumbnail which shows what exactly do you do like if you are a graphic designer then display some of your work on thumbnail and if you don’t want to show that then atleast make it unique and eye catchy but just don’t spam it with texts and irrelevant images. Do your keyword research and add those keywords in your gig title and description. Make your description clean and readable by using bullet points, numbers, headings and highlights. Add tags, don’t overuse same keywords in your tags. Once your gig is up and ready then share it on social medias like Pinterest and Facebook. Now here is the thing, just because you have shared it on social media doesn’t mean people are gonna come to you and ask you for your services. You have to provide value and show them that what can you do. For example, you can create a YouTube channel or Instagram page and then post tutorials, tips or anything useful related to your service and then just add your gig link in the description. Let’s say you are a graphic designer then you can post tutorials on how to create a logo, banner, web design etc. You got the point. Right? Use Buyer Requests section, Fiverr gives you 10 daily limits for buyer requests offers. So, make sure you utilize it every single day. Don’t just copy paste the same script that you have wrote for one client query. Read their requirements carefully and then rewrite your offer from scratch. Make sure you ask questions in your offer, this shows that you are genuinely interested in their job. You can even add links to your portfolio inside that offer. When a buyer contacts you then don’t just give them the price without even listening to their whole requirements. Ask them questions about their requirements, clear all of your doubts and even tell them how you are gonna work on this project and how long it is going to take for you and then give them the quote for your service. When you are working on their orders, make sure you keep them updated because they have spent their money on you and they are worried about the work whether it is going to be done within given time period or not. So, if its taking a long time from your side then just explain them the situation and ask them to extend the delivery time because this is gonna maintain the standards to keep your level up. I hope these tips will be useful for you guys. Thanks.
  8. I’m on this platform since 2013 and there was a time when I used to receive 7-10 orders per day and I was like how am I suppose to work on these many orders but now its very competitive here. Now it takes months or years just to receive a single order. I even bid on buyer requests section every single day and yet I don’t even receive a single response from them. Sometimes I even try to change my gig’s description and title but still nothing works anymore. Anybody else feels the same?
  9. It hurts bro. Same thing happened to me. I have been with Fiverr since 2013 and now they have demoted me to Level 1 because “Order Completion Rate” was low. How is this our fault if some buyer places an order without knowing what they are doing and then we have to cancel it which affects our ratings. It doesn’t affect them but us. I’m also finding other sources of income outside of Fiverr.
  10. Hi, When I was about to turn on Available Now feature after many days then I saw a timer option but I didn’t saw Activate button but when I zoomed out, it came up. Actually it was hidden behind the Help button as you can see in the screenshot. My desktop resolution is 1360 X 768. Hope this will help you debug your layout. Thanks
  11. Hello Fellow Sellers, Do you ask your buyer to try your other services or refer you to someone else while delivering your current project ? I never did this but was wondering if it would increase my sales. What are your thoughts?
  12. Its the same case with me. But I think main reason for this is the competition between sellers which is increasing day by day. Some new sellers are providing services at cheapest rate because they want their first sales. So, buyers think why to spend more money if they can get this job done within few bucks. Buyers don’t care if new sellers provide poor services to them because they always have an option to cancel the order.
  13. Hi, I got an order which is supposed to complete within 24 hours but I want more time and buyer agreed for the additional time. But now question is how to extend the time ? I’ve read that I can deliver my work even after 24 hours but it will be considered as a late delivery and it won’t affect my ratings but for how long I can work after completion of delivery time? Thanks, Amit
  14. One of my friend got promoted to Level 1 seller by just completing 4 orders. He received $5 tip in 3 orders. May be this helped him to become Level 1 seller. Admin Note: This is not actually possible at all. Even if the tips were made with a Tip gig as separate purchases instead of through the tip system, 7 sales will not trigger level 1 which is automatic. All sellers need a minimum of 10 separate sales to trigger the level 1 promotion.
  15. I’m not sure if you can get a list of top selling gigs. If somehow you get to know the top selling gigs then I don’t think it will be beneficial for you in anyway because if anyone else is making money with it doesn’t mean you’ll also start making money with same gigs. There is a Buyer Requests Page where you can see what buyers are looking for. You can definitely get an idea for your new gig.
