When I get a message from a buyer asking me for a quote, I reply giving them the quote, they respond saying it is too expensive and also add that “But this is for CHARITY for sick CHILDREN” or “But I am so broke and trying my best to start my new business” etc etc.

I usually hold my ground and stick to my rates.

i met with someone likely to your case before… he said he wanted to start a youtube channel but he was so broke he only wants $5 for 1000 words, and then he said my accent is not good somehow… he did trigger me but i just want to see him having troubles getting quality voiceovers with such low price range tbh
