  1. It is still usable, and still viable for jobs. Your business is what it comes down to. Most resume’s use cut n paste like the ones I posted previously. There is now shame in it… Yes I moved on from Fiverr sales… but I do know what I am talking about.
  2. Well I can say my gigs with videos increased sells by 70% from the start so go figure lol.

  4. @captainfive Yes videos sell. Make it more personal by doing it yourself. Doing this will let buyers know that YOU are responsible for your gig, and they can get a feeling of your love for what you do. Not only this but across business in general putting a face with a voice relaxes your customers… In this case a face with your gig provider will go far.

  6. @frenchshark Well I partially agree with what you have lets look at the process here and the “what should a seller do” methodology with it. (this is all based on my personal opinion on the way an order should be made. Fiverr Order initiated. Buyer - Buyer orders the Gig Seller - Thank the buyer via messaging through the order, and assure them you will get on it right away. Fiverr Order in progress. Buyer - Buyer awaits for word from the seller. Seller - Gives buyer and update once started. Fiverr Order is nearing completion. Buyer - Buyer is getting excited. Seller - Gives buyer assurance its going smoothly and almost completed. Fiverr Order delivery. Buyer - Buyer receives and decides on next action. Seller - Gives the buyer a message indicating delivery of the item, and “offers” the buyer an opportunity to complete and rate the gig if they are satisfied, if there is an issue or needs modification the buyer is given that option as well. (All in one message) Buyer Accepts or requests modification. a. Buyer - Buyer accepts and Rates a. Seller - Thanks the Buyer and rates back accordingly. (Buyer gives 5 or 4 star its matched, otherwise if the rating is lower Seller gives Buyer 1 star lower then their initial rating) b. Buyer - Buyer doesn’t rate or complete b. Seller - Sends a message to buyer by the third day of completion asking if there is anything wrong with the order completion and or if the buyer was happy because as a buyer, you haven’t heard back or gotten completion or rating. (sometimes this will get the buyer to respond but not guaranteed.) c. Buyer - Buyer requests modification c. Seller communicates with the buyer ASAP in regards to the modification and verify the changes are received positively and done immediately. Going back to step 3 and 4. The order was a success. Buyer - Satisified customer with a possibility of returning as a return customer or spreading the word about your services. Seller - Gets accomplishment and completion as well as getting paid (in most cases 14 days later.) The key here is communication from start to finish. Some sellers don’t communicate at all and the only communication from the seller is on delivery expecting to get a great rating… Sometime a buyer will not leave ratings at all. Its just how they want to do things for various reasons Reasons range from not wanting to hurt a sellers ratings to not wanting their name to be seen by anyone as a buyer. Flexibility is also a key factor to communication as the buyer should get what they want from you if its within your ability. Again this is all my personal opinion on how I see it going. I am sure there are many with their own. but this has led to my success thus-far.

  8. @frenchshark Welcome to Fiverr! As @ruxandradraws said within minutes… If you have a smart phone you can log into fiverr, set for withdraw… confirm the message in your email and BAM! its in your paypal.
  9. Buyers cant be forced to leave feedback and there are those who don’t for multiple reasons. They just don’t like to leave comments or ratings in general They don’t want to hurt your ratings with a low rating they feel you deserve You as a seller didn’t remind them about the rating They don’t understand that as sellers, we live off our ratings. They bought the gig and forgot about it. I have had sellers not rate until days later due to their schedule conflicts. I would recommend sending reminders to them that if they aren’t satisfied you can work a modification with them. Or just a friendly reminder you are interested in seeing how your service was for them. Chances are though for some sellers; if you didn’t communicate with them from the get-go they they wont leave feedback or ratings at all because you didn’t reach out to them during the process and instead just delivered the product by the due date… I start communication with them from start to finish to include updates. It doesn't "auto give positive" just completes.
  10. Well for starters I use a folder saving system one for written projects and one for videos. I store each client individually in their own folders in those sections. I also maintain a tracking sheet of sales per day using Office online services. You can go to your name upper right drop down>Mysells>Revenues and click the CSV file there… Once thats done you will get a readout of your sells You can use that spreadsheet to varify your records

  12. @freelancepromw Dont worry about the time in this case. if the buyer is cosure with it then you are set as it was stated before make sure he/she doesn’t try to cancel it. . To get to the custom order open a message with him (not the fiverr sale window.) but from the inbox You will see the button as the picture shows that I attached. Hope this helps you some.
  13. @fiverjohn I am sorry to hear this happened to you. from personal experience, paypal credit is accepted by anyone who allows paypal payments. It is an option on paypals side and no direct seller (business) can choose that for you. When you make a purchase its YOUR decision in how its paid with paypal. I also buy on fiverr and use paypal credit for everything I do and never have to worry otherwise. It might be because I linked my paypal account and my paypal credit account?   14. Outch! This will have to be dealt with in Customer care. I see your gig but no reviews to go off… that one sell could have been someone being a jerk and hitting you with flagging. I don’t know more behind it so obviously i am limited to my responses. Maybe ask for a copy or copies of notes for this? evidence perhaps?
