  1. Yes! This has become a daily issue now a days. I have been using 3Mbps internet connection, I can download from anywhere with good speed, but when it comes to fiverr; say downloading atachment of the buyers, It is SUPER SLOW!!! The speed is in “Kbps”. Just failed to download a 19MB file which took almost 20 minutes to download upto 18.55MB at 10-12Kbps speed and then suddenly download stopped! Any solution please?!!

I don’t think there is any solution, Fiverr should buy more bandwidth for their file servers.

  2. Nope, that’s not the case. The tip system is a pain in the ass, lot of buyers probably can’t find it if they close the original pop-up/tip suggestion after accepting the delivery. You also have to have an order in the first place in order to tip and even if you an order has been completed you cannot tip if you wait a few days after it’s completion. The Tip/Support/Donate button is convenient and it will definitely result in more profit for the sellers and the platform as a whole. It is not enforced, buyers literally just have the option to support creative people and sellers that they appreciate and I’m sure that a lot of them will do so. I support 5+ people that I don’t know just because I enjoy their work/content, this can only benefit the platform.

Why would someone want to tip if they haven’t ordered anything?

  3. I also withdraw with PayPal, last time I transferred to bank on 18 June the PayPal exchange was 89,09 USD = 76,92 EUR. The normal exchange would have been 89,09 USD = 79,45 EUR, so I lost 2,5 EUR. I don’t think there is any cheaper method. I keep all my money in PayPal anyway since I buy most things online. I only withdraw when I need to buy something on a website that doesn’t accept PayPal.

  4. I’m going to say no, sorry. I remember the same post as @lenasemenkova. What I gathered from that is that any countries with less than ‘best of friends’ relationships with the U.S. seem to be prohibited from using Fiverr.

It is not something I agree with, so don’t shoot the messenger. I would really like to spend time in Syria, but I have heard this too is on the no-go list.

If you were to get residency (and an iD card) in another country, it may be possible for you to work on Fiverr. However, I am pretty sure being in Iran leaves you at a bit of a disadvantage.

Don’t blame Fiverr, though. It is more a case of your everyday political madness.

The US? Are you sure it’s because of their relations with the US…?
