  1. It's probably a dumb question, but I need to make sure because I'm going to create an account on a bank just for that, and I don't want to do it for in the end Fiverr doesn't accept said bank. I simply can't find an awnser to that, not even in the help pages. So, does Fiverr accept Millennium BCP (Portugal)? Yes or no?
  2. I do 2d and 2.5d animantion, so why almost 50% of my buyer request page it’s about 3d animantion/rendering? I don’t do that, I don’t have any gigs that does that. This fulls my buyer request page and I lose time reading them only to find half way that they’re about something I don’t even do 😦
  3. It hasn’t fixed for me yet, but messages from 30 minutes ago are now showing, but no files that I sent were delivered.

  5. I received a message from a buyer that’s: “We are currently recruiting Trainers, Full Timers and Freelancers for our Upcoming Short and Feature Length 2D Amination movie. I was wondering if you would be interested in making an impact in a start-up Animation Production Company. You may send us a comprehensive Profile, Skill and Portfolio. A short animated video where your skill is showcased will be an added advantage. You may also visit our website at (blank) for more information.” I’m not sending them anything because it looks like they want to recruit people outside of Fiverr, which as far as I know it’s something Fiverr doesn’t allow. I’d just like to know if I can report this as a spam or not. Also, this account was created this month. (I searched directly the name of said company and it looks like it exists, but I find it weird the way the message was written). Speaking of which, how to actually respond to messages like this? Because if you don’t your awnser rate goes down 😦
  6. I already changed to 2d animantion and it’s waiting for an approval, but I sent a message to CS anyway in hopes that they see it before doing anything to my gig. Thanks for replying!

I first tried using 2.5d but it didn’t allow, so I used 2,5d Worse part is that I did change the title, but forgot the description before saving, and I can’t edit it anymore… I hope it’s an easy fix, this is my main gig, and apperantly by reading the recent forum entries, it’s getting easier to lose a gig, even if it’s old and has tons of reviews
  8. Can I use “,” on my title? Basically, I had in my gig title 2,5d because I do 2.5d animantion, and today Fiverr sent me a message saying that I should modify my title and/or my description it’s wrong. The problem is that it doesn’t really explain what’s wrong, and my main gig it’s out for now, when I’m literally talking with a client about it. I already modified what I think may be the problem, but how long this will take? (Side note, sorry for only coming to this blog for problems…) Also, I have three orders in said gig that is in line to get approved again, can I still deliver these orders as usual?

  10. I’m not sure this is a bug, but it used to be different You know when in the buyer request they sometimes attach some files for you to see? In mobile I can see all of them, but in my brownser I only have the option to see one file I checked the same buyer request that had like 4 files in mobile, but in the browser I could only see one file Was there an update that made this? Is it my browser? I know I used to be able to see more files, but now I sometimes have to look on mobile to see all attachments they sent to I can make a proper offer.
  11. Yes, I think that’s the best thing that you could do. Yeah, it’s just that it started to be a little awkward, and it’s a shame, he seemed a nice buyer and all, my first order with him I didn’t have this issue I still kind of have an order from him that I previously designed, but I don’t know if I’ll accept it I’m starting to be a little less friendly and a little more distant/cold to see if he gets the message, which it’s not usually how I behave with buyers, but I think in this case I’ll have to be 100% professional. I often talk more with my buyers to get a better idea of their projects and give them all the process of the work, therefore I usualy talk a lot with my buyers but it’s the first time something like this happened, and I’m almost an year on Fiverr I think it was just a matter of time before something like this happened 😕

I’ve been doing a second order from a buyer that’s starting to be, too friendly I think would be the best word He hasn’t commented on anything particually offensive or that crosses the line, but he’s sending messages like “hi just wanted to know how you are”, “just wanted to say hello” and “I hope you have a good night” and such during my order. An one ocassion situation I wound’t mind, but it’s almost daily For one hand, he may be just like that, or it’s just a way to ask about how his order is, but it’s starting to bother me the way he writes, and I’m not really sure what to tell him to make him stop this type of thing, or if I should just ignore. He’s not being mean or pushing, just, really, too friendly for my liking, and I don’t know how to tell him that without sounding too harsh, I just want to be professional that’s all I’m trying to ignore his messages of this aspect, but if I don’t respond it’s also bad for my rating isn’t it? Have any of you ever had a similar situation? Should I just finish his order as soon as I can and then don’t work with him again?

Thank you for the replys, but I finally learned my lesson, I won’t do this type of thing anymore or I’ll charge a small fee for it Ironically, I was the one the misunderstood his words (better, the way he putted his words), he opened an order with me without trouble after it But it was a good lesson for me regardless, things could have gone worse

That we mostly are 😆 I do have some good work on my Fiverr page, but these people that asks for samples usually want something more specific, like if I understand their idea before ordering, which I understand their point. Some were really nice buyers in the end, others… Regardless, after these two recent situations, I don’t think I’ll do these samples anymore, should have learned the first time it happened. I just hope other artists don’t fall in the same trap I did.
