The client ordered from me before and we completed a few smaller jobs together, when he had a massive project and offered 2000USD for my expertise. That is an enormous amount of money for a singular job to me, and it made me feel so happy that someone thinks I am trustworthy and competent enough for a job this scale.

I gave myself 2 weeks time and a lot of things went wrong suddenly, but I managed to find solutions for the issues and delivered still within in the deadline. Thinking "there is probably something I missed" all the time, I finally got a relief when the delivery was accepted. No comments from the client so far, but usually he pipes up when he needs an alteration or something seems mixed up et cetera. Very happy everything is okay!

Very happy. And to think I thought my time on fiverr was over 🙂

Congratulations.best of luck for your upcoming projects

Hi,I'm Vishal, and I'm new to Fiverr.

I created a gig a few months back, but I didn't get any clients.

I've made changes to my gig now, but I don't know  will it work and

how to get my first client.

I'm hearing that it's tough for beginners to grow on Fiverr because it's so competitive.

Yes it's a competitive market. But Fiverr will give equal chance to all if you have quality gig service . You need to just keep patience and look after your gig. Edit your regularly if you see that your impression falling down. Search your niche in low competition.highly research about your gigs . Try to create more gigs . Best of luck . Hopefully you will get order soon.

Is It good or bad that AI has been introduced . Will it take the place of us and finish the work of old freelancers of web development or digital marketing

I think it's good .learn to adapt with it.it can be your best friend in every sector. Don't think AI will replace human job .but it will definitely ease human effort. It will help you to grow your business. So don't think AI as your competitor.it will be your good friend when you get use to of it.

Any suggestions to be successful in webdevelopment career.

Hello, thanks for your interest in the web development sector. I am also a Web Developer. The first thing you need to understand is web development is a continuous process. you have to learn new things every day. The more you learn and practice the more you get confident. you have to practice almost every day whether it's from work or from projects. You have to complete various projects to make your portfolio strong. You have to be up to date with the latest technologies. and need to patience. I am still struggling to get my first order on Fiverr as a web developer. However, I practice my coding skills every day for at least 4 hours.

What is the first thing you do when you receive an order?

First, get too much excited. after the excitement try to understand the buyer's requirements and also take full requirements from the buyer. if there is any doubt ask the buyer for clarification. then take some time to think about the project. make a new folder in the buyer's name so that I can put all of my work in that folder. and then start working.

  7. Hello forum members, I have a question. I am a level two seller on Fiverr. I stopped working for the last 2 years to develop my skills in the web development sector. So I reformed my Fiverr profile. I stopped giving my old services.  I have lots of old buyers and their messages. So my question is can I message my old buyers about my new services? Can I share my gig links in our old message conversation? I am expecting your expert opinion.

I am working at fiver. But one buyer didn't get me rating. And also that me knock him every day for rating but he didn't Ans my question. This is my first work in fiverr . What can I do for this. This rating is most important for my fiver gig.

Don't do this. do not push your client for ratings. It will breach the Fiverr terms and conditions. try to get more orders. If the client wishes they will give ratings from their own. or you can ask to client formally for his honest feedback when you deliver the work.

what should i do, when even after asking client to leave a review they aren't doing it what do to in that case do i ask them again?
or what should i do in the case?

You shouldn't do anything . asking for a review on Fiverr is against Fiverr's terms and conditions. you might get a warning for that. The better approach is when you deliver the work ask the client "Please don't forget to give honest feedback about my work"

On Fiverr yes they choose the gig for promotion. basically, they choose those gigs which you got orders for and performed well at sometimes.

Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well.

I'd love to hear your suggestions for trending and profitable skills that we can offer on Fiverr to earn a good income. I hope you can all pitch in with some ideas! 😊

First you need to understand yourself. What you love to do ? What you passionate about. Let me give you an example of mine. I started my career as a Digital Marketer. And I start selling on Fiverr as a Facebook ad manager . I started good .I generate good amount of from that. But suddenly I was loosing my interest from it .cause there is nothing new . I am just creating Facebook ads for my clients . Nothing new . No creativity .no productivity. I always wanted to create something.visual something.so I moved into the web development sector . I gave myself 2 years for learning . I have done so many projects for to level up my skills . And I came back again on Fiverr . Still looking for my first order . So it depends on how much time you want to give on learning . How far you wanna go . If you are good into marketing go for digital marketing. If you good at art go for graphics design. If you have good programming skills or want learn programming then go for web or software development. World is open for you. Choose what you want to be . Remember no skills going to be wasted.

Which course did you take brother?

For digital marketing I got admitted into Codertrusts Bangladesh. It was a  offline course.

And for web development I completed online course from programming hero Bangladesh and other one from complete web development bootcamp course by Angela Yu on Udemy .

A new milestone was reached today (September 13, 2023): I got 500 reviews on Fiverr, mainly 5-star reviews.

For all newbies (READ AND LEARN):

    a)      All this is achieved without staying online 24/7. I am only online when I am working on my orders.

    b)      I am not using social media

    c)      I am not promoting gigs

    d)      I am not using discounts or coupons

    e)      I am not using SEO

    f)       My gig images are not perfect

    g)      Not all of my gigs have the preferred gig size.

    h)      My gig descriptions are not perfect

    i)       I am not using GIG extras. I only use custom orders.

    j)       I am not using videos

    k)      I am not showing examples in my gigs. I only show 30 examples in my portfolio.

Wow, that's an amazing achievement without any marketing. Best of luck. we should learn something from. It will be great if you share your journey.

I was wondering, purely out of curiosity. Is Fiverr an actual job for you, or just a ‘hobby’, for side income?

For me, Fiverr is just a nice little income to fund my travels. Though, in the future I would love to improve and extend my bussiness to other levels. Or at least experiment with it!

Would love to hear what Fiverr is for you exactly!

Well, It is a platform to show my skills. to meet new people, new cultures, and new work environments to see how I adapt to this international marketplace. I have a permanent job. But I still love to sell my skills and I feel very confident about myself when clients give me a good review.
