  1. It depends, I hope if you have not done anything else apart from this you will get your account back
  2. Yeah! I will keep this in mind for future. Thanks for your support and valuable advice
  3. Hey Fiverr Community! Just wanted to post an update that My account got reinstated today. You guys have been a great support. I have learned a lesson tough way. Thanks for your advices and support. Regards, Udeep
  4. what process did you complete? What was the reason for your account got disable?
  5. I am sorry, I was wrong. Actually the gig got denied on 13th Feb and account restricted on 15th Feb.
  6. I have also read somewhere that they just wait for few days and then ban the account, i don't understand why they take so long for a genuine account. I also don't understand that how they decide when to give a warning or when to restrict the account. My violation is not that serious which can't be corrected with a warning or demotion. If this pity misunderstanding can cause the account restriction then i am excited to know what violations fall under the "warning system"? If I make serious violation they will ban me immediately, and if I make this kind of slim violation still they restrict my account... so when will this warning game come into play? What does a seller do when he/she gets a warning? Really disappointed Never received a warning ever and directly got restricted for this pity mistake. They also know it's unfair... but their playground their rules. I have seen cases where sellers are taking buyer outside the platform for payment & getting warning for that, and I am restricted for this! If they ban me permanently & If this can happen to me , then this can happen to anyone. A small mistake can be made as we are humans not robots. Humans do make mistake, they need to judge the seriousness, intention & frequency of mistake made. The only mistake i did was I thought I had the license for using the template so i can use it. I did not pay attention to word "non-original". If they can't give me a chance for this kind of non-serious violation, its just depends on their mood. That is the reason they don't define clearly "list of violations to get warning" & "list of violations to get permanently ban" separately so they have the margin to play however they want. They have the choice to give you a warning & spare you for extremely prohibited violation .... and they can ban you for tiny mistake. They just want to play this game according to their mood which can't be done if they clearly define "list of violations for warning & Permanent ban".
  7. I am unaware what are they reviewing? Are they check the other violations related to the same "Copyright Infringement" or reviewing everything in the account because this can take ages. I have never abused delivery button, shared payment method or business outside fiverr, no inappropriate language or foul words, no fake orders or VVRO's, no other copyright infringement, never received a warning & only have 1 negative reviews (in 2018). What is causing them to take so long?
  8. Yeah I make sure this first then ask, I also want them to give an excellent feedback so I only do it when I am confident that the client is overwhelmed.
  9. Nope it is still under review. i was just referring in case if I get back my account. I have already asked this to CS and they said I can ask for the review if I am not asking for a specific review. But this is different as it is about private feedback. I am not sure
  10. I also understand how the behaviour of people works. I don't do it bluntly. I over deliver so much after the order that sometimes client feel bad that they didn't tip me enough, and ask for "is there any way they can tip you more?" So in exchange of that overwhelming experience I have given I ask if they can check the notification bell as it helps to grow on this platform. Not even a single buyer got annoyed with me for this. And I only do it when I make sure the buyer is extremely happy and overwhelmed. It's about Fiverr policies otherwise I understand buyers behaviour completely. I know other sellers don't do it because doing it properly needs to over deliver first, where lot of sellers lack. They just want to deliver what they have been paid for. If other sellers start using this tactic I will stop doing it avoiding the risk of annoying the buyer.
  11. I understand the human behavior. I do that with buyers who are extremely happy with me. Its after 2-3 days of accepting the delivery & leaving the review. 99% of the time they don't even realize that there is any notification, so i just inform them. Is it a violation? I just ask one time, if they do it or don't. i do it just to inform them so they can see the notification at least. I don't see this as a violation indirectly as well
  12. Hey Fiverr community, if I ask any buyer to "check notification bell icon if there is anything else to tell more about the delivery and my services" a violation of TOS? I am informing the buyer to leave private feedback in other words
  13. How long did it take to return your account? I am having the same issue right now
  14. Even if this was described in detail as " template and it's derivatives can't be used as gig image despite having the license to use it" this wouldn't have been grey area for me. The other thing is delivery due to deadline and ask client to request revisions for further modifications only when the client does not respond for days. That's all. If that can get my account suspended, I will be disappointed but not financially hurt. It was a great journey with Fiverr as I learnt freelancing from scratch because of this platform. Fiverr has played a major role in my evolution as a freelancer.
  15. Actually restriction was on the day of evaluation 15th Feb. Gig got denied after 15 minutes of publishing on 3rd February. Being on Fiverr for 9 years I also understand the violations. There are no more grey areas. Everything is clear for me and Fiverr as well. I also being told that my account got restricted because of the gig image I used to publish that gig on 3rd Feb by the customer support. I asked them is it the only reason they said yes, one of our team member flagged it for this one reason but now your account is under review which can take upto 90 days. After that I sent them the license they said even if you have provided the proof to use the image, this process can still take upto 90 days. I am not afraid as I had already built my business through my personal website and marketing, because I already knew that this can happen anyday. But I think this mistake deserves a warning, not a complete bann. I had Fiverr Choice badge for the whole week when my account got restricted. Let's see what is in the destiny
  16. I was anyway thinking to delete that gig but it got into trouble. After it got denied I was calm as I wanted to delete that anyway. After 2 weeks my account restricted that made me restless
  17. If you go to freepik website which sells template they have an option of "want to edit it by an expert" once you click on it they directly land you on some Fiverr profiles. People look for experts to edit their purchased template as they are not familiar with the software like Photoshop or illustrator. I didn't not have any order on that gig for around a year, only had 2 orders completed all time with that gig. That too 1 year back.
  18. I understand that so they got my gig denied in 15 minutes of publishing it. It only has 2 orders all time and no order since past around a year. It was a dead gig and didn't try to fix it when it got denied. After 2 weeks my account got restricted. That I didn't understand
  19. That is not mentioned in the page. Anyway I agree to that but it wasn't specifically described in detail which can cause the grey area. I said I have not violated any TOS. Most of the accounts got banned in the beginning of the year were for taking buyers outside or fake reviews. Yes I had sent the complete delivery as per the last conversation with the buyer. I wrote please request revisions for further modifications if needed. All of these, are serious violation? To get the account banned.
  20. I have been a seller on Fiverr since 2014, I had neither received a single warning ever in 9 years nor I have violated any TOS. This is the first time which appears like TOS has been violated ( still not sure ). They can take 9 years instead of 90 days but still won't be able to find any violation apart from " Few months ago, I delivered an order with all the files when client wasn't responding & asked him to request modification (mentioning the order needed to be delivered due to deadline). Also send a message to my client after 12 hours of the order has been marked completed, just asking them to "check the notification bell icon to see if you have anything else to share about the delivery & my services". Just to make them aware about the private feedback. So they can rate me as per their satisfaction. If these violation can suspend my account, then I am speechless! Nope this was just a single image. Not even a single non-original or copyrighted material they can find with my gigs. Actually legally I am not at fault in even this gig image case as I have the license, but as per Fiverr they have different criteria for the design category , so My case may fall under non-original thing. So it just their own rule otherwise the original owner of the template can't blame me. Lets see
  21. Thanks ! Could you please tell what violations are serious enough to shut the account down? I am sure that I have not violated anything apart from this. I am not well informed with this but I think : taking buyer outside the platform, Sharing payment methods other than fiverr, Asking for specific reviews, Taking VVRO, fake reviews to manipulate rating system, sharing contact details with buyers, low quality work, are the reasons for complete shut the account down. If there is no other violation done by me , can they still suspend my account for a gig image on a dead gig with license?
  22. I am able to design the template, I sell them on envato as well. It was a dead gig with 1-2 orders (all time) 1 review , no order past 1 year. So i was not paying attention to that. It just got into required modification category , so I edited a template which I had a license of , and uploaded the gig image. In next 15 minutes the gig got denied. I was okay with that as I was myself thinking about deleting the gig. But after 15-20 days my account got restricted. That got me worried. If they clearly state their definition of originality like " Templates & their derivatives can't be used for gig images" it would clear up the grey area that causes the confusion.
  23. I am pro designer at other platforms, I know designing from scratch. It was just a dead gig which did not have any orders in past 1 years, also 1-2 orders all time. suddenly i got a notification that it requires modification. So I edited a template design because it was dead gig and I did not care about the gig image. I just made sure it has something different from the template , also i had the license. My other gig images are completely made from scratch. I am not sure what got them to restrict my account instead just take the dead gig down, and give me my 1st warning.
  24. Also regarding the link you sent me does not say about templates. It is about the images must be original, as said earlier i had edited the template, also put my name there in the image, used different fonts and icons with custom text instead of " Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s". I checked the TOS page but It's no where defined how much to change a template to call it original. It a very grey area. I am not sure if my image was original or not technically.
