  1. We’re excited to tell you about a new way to get the most out of your Gig Packages: by classifying your Gig with service types. In select subcategories (currently: Mobile Apps & Web, Jingles & Drops, Web & mobile Design, eCommerce, Business Copywriting, WordPress and Website Builders & CMS subcategories), sellers are able to offer several types of service for buyers. Service type is a tag that allows you to indicate what it is you are offering in a specific Gig, and allows buyers to easily find your Gig. Classifying your Gig with the accurate service types helps you: Get the right buyers to your Gig and increase conversion.Differentiate your services with Package Attributes - and set yourself up for higher earnings!Maintain a high level of visibility in the marketplace and highlight your specific expertise.Here’s how to take advantage of service types:Go to Edit GigSelect the right service type from pricing tab on the dropdown menuRemember: You can only have one Gig per service typeDo you offer several service types in the same subcategory? Great! We have now made it even easier for buyers to find your other Gigs.   2. We’re excited to announce an easy new way for for buyers and sellers to discuss revision options after an order is delivered. With Delivery Comments, buyers can add comments within delivered JPEG and PNG image files. Providing sellers with an easier view of requested revisions for feedback.   3. We’re excited to announce the launch of the new Watermark feature on Fiverr. This new feature will help protect your hard work from being used without your permission. When you deliver your Gig, the watermark will appear on the image preview until your buyer accepts and completes the order. Your image will not be available to the buyer for download until after the order is complete. Watermarks will also appear on delivered works in your Gig portfolio, not including the Gig images that you upload yourself. They will automatically appear on the following file types: JPG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PNG (but not on images attached within ZIP files). You can disable the Watermark feature on a Gig-by-Gig basis, from the My Gigs page. This feature is available site-wide, for all image deliveries. Update: Watermarked images can now be downloaded. As always, we’d love to get your feedback.

The Top Buyer badge is a golden crown icon that is only added to a select group of buyers. Where does the Top Buyer badge appear? The Top Buyer badge appears next to the buyer’s username in your Inbox and My Contacts. How is the Top Buyer badge calculated? The Top Buyer badge is calculated by a number of factors including a high level of activity and orders on Fiverr. New buyers with very high levels of activity, such as orders and frequent visits, could also receive the Top Buyer badge, so it’s not just restricted to repeat buyers who have been using the platform for a long time.   10. The functionality is supposed to work like this: when a seller delivers, the clock is set to be marked as complete. When the buyer requests modifications, the timer to complete pauses. If the clock on the order page continues to tick, then it may be a technical issue. If you are experiencing this, please report it to our support team so that they can look into it.
  11. Say goodbye to those awkward facial expressions! We’ve added a new feature that enables you to to set a specific second in the video to choose a video image that will appear on your Gig page. To change your thumbnail just go to your Gig edit page, pause your video and then click ‘set as preview’. That will set the second you selected as the video’s preview. Enjoy!
