  1. Every once in awhile I’ll get that from some client, but I’d say it’s one out of every 100 folks or so. Unless it’s something you hear a lot, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Sometimes we can sound robotic if the energy is low, you’re tired etc so that’s something to consider. But sometimes it’s because you have an unnaturally worded script, and the delivery can’t fully salvage it.
  2. As others have noted, the COVID situation seems to have increased freelancing traffic, but that means that there are also probably a lot of people who have turned to freelancing now for work since their regular jobs suddenly became unstable so the market may have more customers, but it’s probably getting saturated with new sellers, too. Nothing you can really do about that, but if your business is slower than you’d like, it’s probably a great time to focus on new ways to market yourself, improve your craft, learn another aspect of your business, etc. There is always something new to learn and a better way to grow your business. I learned a lot just from free online sources like YouTube videos which ended up giving me new skills I could sell. Good luck!
  3. I think that’s a good practice. I’ve also experienced buyers who just stop all communication after I make it clear that I won’t record the whole script as a ‘sample.’ And I agree with you-that’s definitely just dodging a bullet. Good luck! Hope you have a great new year ☺️
  4. I would go ahead and deliver it. That way it cannot be marked as ‘late’ or ‘undelivered,’ and the buyer can always request modifications if they need to change something. And if they never respond, Fiverr will mark it as complete after 3 days.
  5. Sorry to hear that. As far as I know, you can bet that Fiverr will almost always side with buyers no matter the situation. If there is a way to do a sample/portion of work in your line of work, I would recommend that if you want to check with the buyer first before creating an order. Like for myself, I do voice over and sometimes buyers have requested a ‘sample’ before playing an order, but the sample is the entire script. I record about a quarter of the script and send that but never send them completed work without placing an order first. Better luck in the future! Most buyers I’ve worked with are decent, regular folks who want to pay you fairly for your work.
  6. Welcome! Check buyer requests every day and multiple times daily if you can. Put up samples of your best work on your gig, and use the phone app to stay online and receive alerts for buyers who may need to purchase a gig immediately. Good luck :))🍀
  7. Hey there! Are you checking the buyer requests every day/multiple times a day? I had my gig for about 2-3 months and eventually started to get orders after I began responding to buyer requests every day. You can also keep the app open on your phone so you are appearing online for buyers who may be looking for a project immediately. Good luck!
  8. Thanks for the info. I’ll look it up
  9. Welcome to Fiverr! Have you had your gig long? It usually takes awhile for the first orders to start coming in. I think when I started my gig, it took 3 or 4 weeks to receive my first order. But I would submit proposals for buyer requests nearly every day and eventually orders started coming in. Good luck!
  10. My gig is voice over, and on some of my work I’ve used music from the incompetech and ben sound websites. These sites let you use the music but require you to credit them. Since I can’t credit them in the audio, I put a note about in my description as the sites dictated. Now Fiverr has flagged me for having a website link in the description. I’ve removed it so it’s ‘pending review’ now. If you also use music like this, how do you credit the site and not have this issue? Any help is super appreciated! Really nervous now that they’ll pull my gig or something 😕
  11. Hey welcome! As far as I know, there are no other restrictions other than the ‘no level’ restrictions in the link above. ^ I started selling a little over a year ago and haven’t gotten any kind of info update from Fiverr during that time about any new restrictions. Good luck with your gigs! 🍀
  12. This did happen, I didn’t know it would make it late. Thank you for letting me know!
  13. Thank you! I thought it was the overall level of all time. I really appreciate your letting me know
  14. Hi everybody, Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with their seller levels fluctuating up and down in inaccurate ways. I’ve had this problem in the past and lost my seller 1 status over it. But now it is even worse and has my On Time Completion rate at 50%. Out of many orders over a year and a half of being on Fiverr, I’ve only ever delivered one project late (a few minutes past the deadline). But according to my level, it indicates that I’ve only delivered half on time. If you’ve experienced this or know what to do about it, I would appreciate any help. Thanks!!
  15. I’ve always had trouble with certain servers as well. One of my favorite ones just stopped functioning with Fiverr somehow; I can’t even login. So I use another one just for Fiverr. Sadly I don’t have a solution, but thanks for posting. I thought it was just me :woman_facepalming:t2:
