  1. Way to go, Eoin! You truly are a gem. I remember when I resumed offering my services on Fiverr with this new account after a long break, you placed an order on my gig. I didn’t even ask you but you placed an order anyways and gave me a 5-star review. I don’t know if the article was what you were looking for or you were just being you (would love to know what you thought about it at that time). But, that 5-star review meant a lot to me. To know that such a great person, writer, and Fiverr seller appreciated my work… Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that you are very humble, kind, and plain awesome. Haven’t posted on the forum in years, but this had to be done.
  2. That is actually not true. Payoneer only lists Fiverr as a Funding Source and nothing more. You may as well be selling the KFC recipe or teaching how to summon the Dark OverLord. That’s Fiverr’s thing to deal with it. Payoneer will let you receive money from a Funding Source (Fiverr in this case) and withdraw or spend it, as long as you have a Fiverr account.
  3. Account approval may take anywhere from 24 hours to 7 days. However, if you submit an application before Friday and around 12:00 PM EST, you may get a response within the next 12-16 hours. At the end, it just depends on your luck and the total number of applications submitted. Additionally, it may take another 6 to 21 days for your card to arrive. However, your account will be completely operational in the meantime.
  4. Just tonight it helped. The idea of a business paypal account and a personal one had not occured to me. It’s something I may look into. One concern I have about Payoneer is that it will be a new account that I will be depositing over $3000 into. Are they even going to allow that on a new account? I am also hoping to keep the Paypal option open at the same time I open the new Payoneer account, so it can continue to be studied and hopefully fixed. Someone said that they both work, so you have the option to use either. Yes, that’s perfectly fine and allowed, as long as your profile is complete and verified.
  5. The suspension probably came from you using Elle Fanning’s portrait as your profile image. Since your Fiverr account is gone now, I would suggest a pinch of creativity and tonloads of originality for your future endeavors.
  6. I have no experience of promoting my gigs on social media, therefore, I cannot offer tentative advice on that specific form of Facebook promotion. However, I have worked with Facebook ads, for a couple of client websites. The principle of “You get what you pay for” works here but in a completely different way. The more time you spend on setting up the ads, conducting research and knowing your target audience, better the chances you have at getting a considerable amount of clicks.
  7. You’re welcome! Please keep us updated and do not hesitate to reach out again, if the issue persists.
  8. I wonder where you receive your account updates and notifications. You can link a google account with your Fiverr profile, by clicking on your profile image and visiting the “settings” page. Once done, save the changes, verify, and try logging in with the newly linked Google account. Good Luck!
  9. Try logging in with the Gmail account linked to your Fiverr account.
  10. This is quite common, especially with some new buyers. But, you will not always get a bad writing for refusing to work for free. Recently, I received a revision request from one of my buyers. They thanked me for the “amazing work” and told me that I have “an exceptional writing style”. With such praises, I was asked to write additional 600 words and complete the article, so that they can “reward me with a five-star review”. I thanked them for their kind words and pointed towards the word-count stated on my gig. This was followed by a suggestion to order an extra if they wanted me to complete the article. Roughly 3 minutes later, I received a notification that they had ordered additional words. The buyer may be culturally accustomed to such techniques and proceedings. So, I would advise you to expect the best from people and always remember that CS is there to help if things ever go south.
  11. I would suggest you rephrase your request. As there are thousands of buyer requests added on a daily basis, it is simply not possible to have “real team members” filter the spam out of them. Therefore, automated systems are used. In its present state, your request does look like a service ad. Perhaps, a better and acceptable version would be, "I need someone to format 6-8 KDP ebooks into one ready to print file for softback distribution. There should be at least one black & white picture per page." Good luck!
  12. Have you ever read “The man who mistook his wife for a hat”? amazon.com The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat: And Other Clinical Tales: Oliver Sacks, Jonathan Davis: 0889290302588: Amazon.com: BooksIn his most extraordinary audiobook, “one of the great clinical writers of the twentieth century” (The New York Times) recounts the case histories of patients lost in the bizarre, apparently inescapab ... Nah, I didn’t even know about it. Will surely give it a read.
  13. Happy Birthday! May you have many more, and hey, did you mention pizza?:star_struck:
  14. That quote is often followed by “here, hold my beer.” Hahaha, yes. And, as some of my intellectual friends would agree, that’s why women tend to live longer than men 😂
  15. Also: But we are talking about the gaseous form that is present in the stratosphere, one of the four atmospheric layers over the earth’s surface. In any case, let’s not get into a debate here. There is already too much fighting going on. It really hurts me to see how people so easily forget that they are on a professional platform and have a reputation to maintain.
  16. I’ve hated chemistry in school. 🙂 I hardly ever got past the preface. It’s actually very interesting, once you get to the environmental portion. But, a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do. P.S. Yep, it’s ozone, as of now. Stay tuned for more updates.
  17. Also: The pleasure is mine! But hey, please correct me if I am wrong. I don’t wanna sound dumb in a face-to-face conversation.
  18. As far as I can remember, it’s green and light-blue in color, as it absorbs most of the green part of the sunlight’s visible spectrum, thus allowing red and other colors to filter down to the earth’s surface. If that’s not true, then I guess I should’ve focused more on my Chemistry class.
  19. This is quite normal, especially in winters, at least that’s how it is with me. Regarding “Googling” your symptoms, I would suggest you read “The Man Who Was A Hospital” by Jerome K. Jerome. It’s a short read, taught as a chapter in my country, but I am sure most of the people would have read it somewhere. And, dementia? pffft… “Don’t stuff your head with things you don’t understand.”
