For some reason I'm getting a lot ( and I mean a LOT) of spam messages.
Spam is nothing new, but unlike some unlucky people my "spam frequency" was overall pretty low, I'd say 3~4 a month.
I've read here at the forum that some people get over 10 everyday, that'll drive me nuts for sure.

Luckily I'm not getting 10, but I am getting muuuch more for sure. On top of that the contents are longer and detailed.
Usually my spam messages are quite short, they tell me they either A, they want a job, or B, they can be my assistant.
Recently though they get into details about how poor their families are, how they have been searching for jobs and waiting
for the jobs to come to them while they pray to god etc etc, and people on the forum are not being helpful and very unfriendly. Uh, excuse me, cough cough.
The strangest one for today was the person asking me for a job, an he said

"I can only speak one language but can translate multiple languages, any languages!"

That's a copy/paste BTW, that's exactly what the person said. OK...so you can speak one language, but you can translate??

I hit report right away of course.  I wasted 4 seconds of my life, how wonderful. Are other people getting more and more spam lately too?

After I hit the report button, I decided to go out to lunch, and I bought myself those tasty steamed xiao long bao dumplings.

And I burned my tongue. Duh.
Guys, be careful when you eat them.

I've received quite a few but I've reported every single one. It's been surprisingly quiet since the last batch of messages so Fiverr must be on the case.

Is anyone now how to rank gig perfectly without reviews?

Have been promoting my gig everyday for the past 2 month but not ranking in where i want it to rank.

I've been very fortunate to have a gig selected twice for the Rising Talent badge, yet I was still on the third page. It seems pretty random how you appear, I'm not sure there is necessarily a rank where you can get to the front page because it seems to change every time you load it.

I'm a new seller, My first order cancel, for some reason. My gig impression and click down. so, What can I do now.

Just ensure that your gigs are of high quality and eventually, orders will come in. It's harder when you're just starting out but there's nothing in particular you can do other than sharing your Fiverr page.

Why wages is very low on fiverr?

I charge $2k for design a website with wordpress for my local client. but in fiverr when I try to charge $400 buyer tell that prices are very high. I got another seller who will do it with $50 usd. it is very fraustrating for me. 😔 and I checked that later also. He actually done the work only $50.

Do you have any solution for this issue?

If you can back up and justify your price, and you're getting buyers in, then keep your price as it is. It is frustrating when someone else offers a service at a very cheap price, but if you have good reviews and experience/qualifications, it's natural for your price to go higher and some people will be happy to pay for that.

I have requested a gig form a book cover designer, and they state, in their gig info, that the "Source File" is available in the deal. I take it, that it means I will own the source file 100%, once everything id done, is that so? If yes, on receiving the source file, I can then use it for another of my book covers, without needing to ask the cover designer of the source file, whether I can use it or not, without any legal recourse. Is that correct?

Contact the seller and ask them.

  6. I've been back and forth e-mailing with CS for a whole week at this point and they don't seem to be listening to me and it's driving me mad! On top of that, someone else handled the ticket, ignored everything I'd been saying and just sent me generic instructions for the verification process. They also e-mail me and the day after they reply at 10pm, they say that they're going to close the ticket if I don't reply soon enough!

Their system is not sending me the verification e-mail I need to be able to verify my Paypal/bank account to withdraw my funds. This is an issue I've seen posted here before where Fiverr admitted it was an issue with their system. However, it seems they're not accepting responsibility this time around and won't listen to me after repeatedly asking me the same questions and giving them the same answers.

Yes I've checked my junk/spam folder for both e-mails that I have.

Yes I've checked it's the same and correct e-mail address on my Fiverr and on my Paypal account.

Yes I know how to begin the verification method which I've now attempted several times.

Yes I've deleted cache and cookies.

    Yes I've tried incognito mode.

I even sent them a video of me going through the process for the 10th time and showed them my inbox and the junk folders proving it's not coming through and they still were like 'I couldn't see that you checked the junk/spam folder'. I'm starting to lose my patience with them! How many times do I have to tell them the same info over and over that there's an issue on their end before they listen to me?! They're just not listening/helping or asking their engineers to investigate the problem, so it looks like I'm not going to be able to get anything I've earned!

    What else can I do?

I am opening an account on Fiverr and giving 3 gigs. It's been about two months but I haven't received any order yet and what can I do to get the first order?
Please Visit my Fiverr account Link https://www.fiverr.com/ak_kamrul

You joined last month. You're also selling things that are in the popular category, meaning you have a lot of competition. It takes time to get orders as a new buyer, but you can't expect immediate results after only a month.

Do you think freelancing can help a man seriously earn a living?

Personally, I wouldn't quit a more stable job for freelancing, but it's good to do on the side.

It's been almost two years I am still struggling to sustain in Freelancing so I often feel like giving it up, but I also can't take the final step to give it up since Freelancing is my passion and I'm a full-time job holder as well so it's really very difficult for me to adjust time between work and Freelancing.

What should I do to get rid from this middle point of give up or don't give up? Seeking advice from the experienced and professional people only.

It's hard to do freelancing when you're working full time. I'd maybe reduce the number of gigs you offer to the ones you really enjoy doing or feel you're the best at and focus on those for a while. Also allow yourself a little more time to complete them too. It might take the pressure off a little bit which will allow you to enjoy freelancing a bit more!

I saw many people selling Web Application service at $5  in Programming and Tech category. It is really difficult to learn JavaScript how could someone selling it at $5 . An experienced person can't sell web application in just $5. It makes problem when buyer see that someone is selling it at lower rate then he/she could hire them but if the seller can't able to complete the task the buyer will disappointed and leave Fiverr that Fiverr has fulfill with unqualified seller.

On the other hand there are experienced seller who has high skills but new in Fiverr they know the actual price of the service but as the price is high so many buyer don't hire them. Recently Fiverr set minimum price at WordPress category but I think they should set minimum price for all category so the experienced seller get the actual value for their work.

IT is all about my thought you can share your opinion at this point.

I would say, charge what you think is fair for your service and state in the description what your experience and knowledge level is and assure that they will get an expert service for the price they pay with you.

Unfortunately though, whatever you do, there'll always be people who are underselling their work.
