Is it okay / normal for people to ask for my email when they want to purchase my gig ?

I'm a seller and I do traduction and for now, I've only had people asking me for my mail

Just wanted to know if it's normal or if there's a risk it's a scam

No. Report those buyers whoever asks for your personal details such as email address, phone number, address etc.. It's usually a scam. 

It's normal for newbies but never provide your details else you will be in trouble i.e. account suspension.

Indeed, it's not something that's accepted.
It's clearly written in the Fiverr's Terms of Service:

Quote

Requesting or providing Email addresses, s***e/IM usernames, telephone numbers or any other personal contact details to communicate outside of Fiverr in order to circumvent or abuse the Fiverr messaging system or Fiverr platform is not permitted

I humbly suggest that you remind them that this is part of your duties, but that of course you want to continue with them the sale they have initiated within Fiverr.
