Prospects of Sellers outside US?

Hi, I am planning to start out as a freelancer in a couple of months. I am currently doing research on the same. I am based out of India and have created a profile - my core strength being ideation for branding - done in synergy with teams via brainstorms. I have 13 years work-ex in large agencies working on some really big brands. Since this platform seems to be mostly US based…does it hamper my prospects of getting work ?
