Fiverr Virtual Events Code of Conduct

While Fiverr community events are supposed to be fun and engaging, and should promote conversations and questions, they are also professional forums. As such, attendees are expected to act in a professional manner at all times and to adhere to Fiverr’s Community Standards. By joining this Fiverr virtual community event, you agree to abstain from:

  • Marketing, spam, or self-promotion where irrelevant to the conversation
  • Belittling others’ ideas or opinions
  • Hate speech or harassment
  • Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, accent, dialect, or national origin, etc.
  • Sexual attention of any kind
  • Unprofessional or personal comments regarding a person’s lifestyle choices and practices
  • Deliberate misgendering or deadnaming
  • Simulated physical contact (e.g. textual descriptions like “hug” or “backrub”) without consent or after a request to stop
  • Threats of violence
  • Incitement of violence towards any individual or group, including encouraging a person to commit suicide or to engage in self-harm
  • Deliberate intimidation
  • Sustained disruption of discussion
  • Continued one-on-one communication after requests to cease
  • Publication of non-harassing private communication

    Enforcement

    Any messages, posts, or comments that violate our Code of Conduct will be immediately deleted. In addition, the community member who posted the messages will either be given a warning or removed from the event depending on the severity of the violation. In extreme cases, the offender may be barred from attending future Fiverr community events and possibly removed from Fiverr entirely.

    Report violations

    If you see something questionable in chat, Q&A, Direct Messages or other channels that you think violates our Code of Conduct, please screenshot the conversation or post, and email the screenshots along with any relevant context to grassroots@fiverr.com We’ll take it from there.
