Hi, I’m Shir Peleg, a Customer Success Manager, and my favorite part of my job is helping people from all over the world use their skills to succeed on Fiverr.
When I first joined Fiverr, I was super excited to meet people from places I’d never been and help them reach their goals, grow their businesses, and go further on their Fiverr journey than they ever thought possible.
And here are a few more of my favorite things:
- My favorite animal is the cat - my husband and I have two that we absolutely adore! Kaji is a lazy ginger boy, and Nakia is a curious and beautiful tricolor lady.
- My favorite season is summer - I’m always cold and not a fan of winter, so it’s a good thing Israeli winters are short!
- My favorite travel destination is Tanzania - I’ve been to Africa several times, but going on safari and seeing all the incredible wildlife was truly the highlight.
- My favorite podcasts are all about tech - I love learning about new technologies, especially AI, and how we can adapt and use them to our advantage.
That’s why I always encourage the sellers I work with to use ChatGPT and other generative AI tools - they can make their work easier, faster, more polished, and more efficient. I know some people are still hesitant or even feel awkward about using AI, but in today’s world, it’s quickly becoming a must-have skill. In fact, I believe that not using tools like ChatGPT is starting to put people at a real disadvantage.
Tips to make AI work for you!
Now, I’d like to share a few ways Fiverr sellers can take advantage of ChatGPT in their work:
New Ideas for Gigs
ChatGPT can help sellers discover new gig ideas by spotting market trends and uncovering niche opportunities. It can suggest unique service combinations, create catchy titles and highlight gaps in the market. It can also help tailor gigs to solve real customer problems and suggests seasonal offers to boost sales. Here's a sample prompt:
“I’m a website developer selling services on Fiverr. What are the most in-demand and trending gigs for website developers right now? Based on current market trends, what specific gig ideas should I offer to attract more buyers and stand out on Fiverr?”
Communication and Client Satisfaction
If you're finding it challenging to communicate with buyers or need assistance crafting templates, drafting responses, or managing disputes, ChatGPT can be a game-changer. It helps you save time, minimize misunderstandings, and deliver top-notch customer service.
- Draft responses and messages - ChatGPT can help you reply to buyer messages faster and more efficiently while maintaining a professional tone. Whether it's answering inquiries about services, providing status updates, or responding to revisions, ChatGPT can generate well-structured, polite messages. Here's a sample prompt: "I received a message from a buyer asking for revisions on their logo design, but the scope of the request is beyond what we initially agreed upon. Please draft a polite and professional response that explains this, offers a reasonable solution, and maintains a positive tone."
- Zoom calls are an excellent way to align with buyers, set clear expectations, and agree on the scope of work. It's equally important to send a summary afterward so the buyer has a clear plan to reference, and you have documented proof in case of any disputes. However, summarizing a call can be challenging, and key details might be missed. To save time, you can use ChatGPT to generate a concise summary from the call transcript. Here's a sample prompt:
"Please summarize this conversation transcript into bullet points with action items for both sides."
- Handling challenging buyers gracefully is crucial for maintaining a positive reputation on Fiverr. ChatGPT can assist sellers by drafting responses that stay professional, calm, and solution-oriented, even in challenging situations.
