Hello Sellers! There are some industries in which we think we know what logos buyers are looking for. But in some cases – we simply have no clue! Guess what–buyers don’t know either! While buyers know a lot about the industry they are in, they don’t necessarily know what logos would work for their industry. What happens is that they either put the most obvious keyword or they don’t put one at all. The result is that the logos that they get might be nice, and it might even be what they asked for– but they won’t buy it. When they see it they just know – it won’t fit.
It is our job to then provide them with what they need even if they don’t know it yet – and maximize conversion!

Today, we'll explore five industries—event planning, photography, kids' brands, computer software, and woodworking—to analyze common design elements and recommend effective strategies to maximize sales.

Based on our findings, here’s what we recommend:
Industry 1: Event Planning In any industry, buyers are looking for logos that are easily recognizable, memorable, and complementary to their aesthetic. Event planning businesses often seek logos that are memorable, visually appealing, and versatile. They often prioritize universal appeal to attract a diverse clientele.
Key Design Tips:
  • Minimalist Approach: Focus on the brand name, allowing for flexibility across various event themes
  • Graphic Elements: Incorporate floral motifs, geometric shapes, or abstract patterns to reflect the desired brand personality
  • Font Selection: Choose fonts that align with the brand's vibe. Script fonts for elegance, sans-serif for modernity, and serif for tradition
  • Color Palette: Consider gold for luxury, pastels for warmth, and bold colors for excitement
