PLEASE RETHINK YOUR NEW LEVELS! You're penalizing sellers that have been with Fiverr for years! I'm assuming Fiverr's goal is to make EVERYTHING automated so they can rake in the profits with very little effort. What was wrong with your original system? Were you not making enough money? It seems your mission now is to weed out sellers with lower profits by lowering levels and overall ratings in the blink of an eye. You're making it impossible for many sellers to maintain a successful rating! You're splitting hairs with your insane stats. JUST MAKE IT SIMPLE!!!!!

I've got a few more orders to fill...then, after a 10yrs as a successful freelancer on Fiverr, it will be time to say goodbye. Sad.

Here's the best proof of that.👆👆👆

Working hard to move away from Fiverr's increasing AI insanity, since it forces me to focus on bending over backward to understand and meet the demands of a crazed robot overlord rather than focus on learning and growth.

I believe quite a lot of Fiverr's other top-rated, pro sellers are thinking the same.

I agree with you. It looks like they are trying to distract us with other topics so that we forget about what is happening now.
What kind of development can we talk about if we are forced to focus on things that make us move either backwards or in an incomprehensible direction.
After everything that has happened, many people will need to recover their psychological state first, not to mention development.

We talk about development, and instead of developing ourselves, we watch an incomprehensible AI develop in an incomprehensible way and make things worse for the sellers.
    SHOCK! SHOCK! SHOCK! SHOCK!

  3. Am I alone in thinking that the seller's pricing clause should not be in any version at all.
The buyer himself chooses and agrees to the price he sees and for which he places an order.
And then it all depends on the quality of the terms of reference and understanding of the overall picture of the work. Also this estimate may depend on the mood of the buyer. It can be so biased that it can not reflect the real quality and effort spent on the final and completed work.
But it can very much spoil the statistics of the seller.

    SHOCK

My success score dropped to 5 today as well. I have deleted "2 gigs with negative effect", and successfully completed many orders lately, trying my best. As a result, my score dropped -1 in ALL gigs.

Very nice motivation Fiverr. Thank you

My score dropped from 6 points to 4 in a week, even though I didn't even close more than one order.
    The system works by itself))))

These are better than Fiverr’s system, but would have the same ultimate effect. The only transparent way to do it is to educate the buyer on what different ratings mean. 4.7 stars is the cutoff for “acceptability” (at the TRS level) so that needs to be communicated to the buyer at the time of leaving feedback. If they rate below 4.7 stars, then they’re saying that you, as seller, should be removed from the platform if you don’t start delivering better. The same for private feedback. It’s worded in a way that makes the buyer think they’re rating FIVERR not the seller. That’s the reason for such low recent private feedback.

    Totally agree.
It would be better if Fiverr started to redesign the existing tools for buyer and seller work rather than introducing innovations that nobody needs. And these innovations don't even work.

That's really another issue: Fiverr has a ton of private review data and God knows what else that it hasn't shared with this update that is probably informing their new review/leveling system. I mean, I can get why they're not telling us everything, but them telling everyone how transparent everything is was, to my mind, incredibly patronizing.

memo to staff reading this: next time, focus on "honesty with limits". Things will probably go better.

They tell us about the transparency of the site. But what this transparency consists in is not clear.

  7. Since this thread was created to express opinions and my concerns, I wanted to voice them:

    1. After the new update of the system of evaluations and ratings, we got a system that works in an absolutely incomprehensible way. At least it can be seen at the moment when this system works differently for everyone, which has already been clearly demonstrated several times by freelancers in discussions.

    2. Fiverr in every application tries to tell us that it does everything for buyers and sellers. But what to do if probably the whole community of sellers is not satisfied with the new innovations? Why are we not heard? Why aren't they listening to their community?

    3. The level system has been changed with complete disregard for any fairness to the performers.
It seems that even one negative grade can ruin your career on the set.

I got two 4.7 review in the last few days just related to the new metrics Value for Money. Still, I got tips for both orders and very nice words in feedback about client' experience. I do not understand this parameter at all. I do not force clients to order my service, so if they choose it they should consider if it is cost-effective for them. Should we all sell our services for $5 to get 5 stars for Value for money?
This new review system is a disaster.

The most interesting thing about this situation is that even selling your product for $5 doesn't guarantee you a maximum score in the "Value for Money" column."
    That's just absurd.
Considering that we're on a platform where the customer is searching for a contractor.
