When I moved from Japan to Hawaii, my time zone and country didn't change automatically. So I had to create a help desk ticket to change it.

Once I showed CS proof that I was living in the US, they changed my country and time zone for me. I used a utility bill with my name on it, but my driver's license also had my new address.

Here's what CS told me in the help desk ticket:

Yes, I am living in Bangladesh, and my location is set to Bangladesh on Fiverr, yet my timezone is wrong, that's the main issue.

I don't know why this is happening, my time is wrong in Fiverr Profile. My current time is 2 a.m. (Sat), but on the Fiverr Mobile App, it's showing 9.59 pm (Fri). Does anyone know how I can resolve it? I didn't find any settings on Fiverr to change my timezone.

By right now, I mean as soon as you get the first message. Your buyer will never go for the other option if you are available and be there for him. Of course you have to well present your solution to his/her questions. But, communication upfront is really that matter in my case.

 

**This is not any thumb rule neither so stated by Fiverr. It works for most while doesn't for others.

Could you please suggest to me what is the right time to be more active on Fiverr?

[How do you deal with links in buyer communications?]

I know this is probably a scam or a link to a malicious website – especially when they use link shorteners to hide the URL.

I'm also conscious that these kinds of communications need to stay on platform for everyone's protection.

When people send these kinds of messages, I've been responding with something like the following:

I don't want genuine buyers to feel like I'm accusing them of something nefarious, but obviously I can't go around clicking every link that's sent to me. I had one of these today and a few hours later that person's account is blocked, so I'm glad I didn't click the link 😅

Does anyone have any feedback on this? Is there anything missing or can anyone suggest a better way to respond?
