Though like I said, changing it in the title would mean you'd get a lot of competition - ie. you'd be up against more gigs (there's about 7123 gigs for "watercolor" and about 295 gigs for "watercolour"). But US buyers would likely search for the "watercolor" text. I meant you could try adding the "watercolor" spelling as a search tag or to a list of keywords in the gig description (eg.  so that you could be found for both spellings and still be found easily by UK searchers, with keeping the UK spelling in the title), and seeing how that affected impressions. Though you could try the different ways of doing that and seeing which gets the most impressions/sales.

Yes that’s what I have planned for now! A week or two with one spelling, and another week with the other. I have the alternate tags on tag portion.

One thing is that in the "I will draw realistic watercolour food and drink illustration" gig
the main gig image says "only $10". But the basic gig package price is $100. Though the basic package says you get 5 items,
5x$10 = $50 so the price shown on the main gig image still seems different to the price shown in the basic package.

Also if most buyers were from the US, then they'd be more likely to search for "watercolor" rather than "watercolour" so your gig probably won't show up for the "watercolor" search (even though Fiverr returns related words it doesn't seem to for things like that). Though if you changed the spelling of it in the gig then you'd have a lot more competition from other gigs with the other spelling. But maybe you could try adding the other spelling to a search tag or a list of keywords you put in the description just to see if that increases impressions.

Some people might want to get all rights with the purchases so that might stop a few of them if they won't.

Ah I increased the prices recently and plan to change the images too. That slipped my mind.

I added the watercolor spelling, I will check for a week if the impression changes.

    Thank you so much!

That's a very good one, if a tad old.

Glanced at your profile and gigs. (I like all the images but the glass cup.)

A lot of art gigs in general are having trouble due to the recent advancements in AI. So, a lot of Sellers are in the same situation. The general advice that's being tossed around right now is "be better than the AI, and convince people it's worth it" which is good, but basic. At this time, though, that's all I can really offer.

Thank you! I do plan to change the images of the food illustration gig.

May I ask which forum posts you went through? There's a lot of great advice that can be found on the forums, but also just as much bad advice.

  5. Hello.

I have been in Fiverr for almost two years and I was getting a few orders here and there, since the last few months, I have not received any briefs or orders. I figured there might be something wrong with my gigs and so I went through the forum posts and tweaked them.

I would appreciate any input regarding this from the experienced members, thank you in advance.
