  1. Hi!

From what I've seen so far, you'll have to contact CS to get the flag on your profile changed, and you'll have to provide your new VAT number, to ensure you are fully registered in your new country. (I've been moving quite a bit and have lived in 3 different countries in three years (6-12 months), with lots of different IPs and the country shown on my profile didn't change).

  2. This is so exciting!

In all honesty, it's a testament to the team's hard work towards making this an awesome platform to work on, and a huge step towards more fantastic possibilities and opportunities of creating a truly thriving business (and mental health), making Fiverr an amazing marketplace to work on.

Thank you, dear product team, for being in our corner with all these new features!

I don't understand why every buyer always prefers top rated seller one even though new people have knowledge then they come here with hope. But i realize many new seller give up and fade up this situation after some month.

Every TRS was once a New Seller...

I don't understand. Let's say I've took 3 important jobs on Fiverr from clients, and I need to focus only on those 3 projects because I can't take more workload. Let's say that those big projects require 3 months to be finished. Why should I be penalized if i set myself unavailable for more than 30 days to focus only on those big projects?

Because this is about business and if you're not generating profit, it makes no sense (in terms of numbers) to reward you for not working, placing you on first pages, when there are other accounts delivering ten times that amount. It's just a business decision. You're not being punished. Hardworking, profitable accounts are being pushed because it makes sense from a business perspective.

A single seller account should represent one individual offering their services, ensuring a fair marketplace for everyone. It is imperative that Fiverr identifies and removes any sellers who do not adhere to this principle in order to maintain a trustworthy and balanced platform.

This is unlikely to happen as it is precisely those agencies that make Fiverr millions of dollars a year. These are usually Pro-vetted sellers, managed by a personal Customer Manager that supports the team in delivering quality work. They typically started out as individual sellers, but the workload increased to the point of having to set up this kind of system– after all, declining work for lack of resources would be losing money. But I don't think we're adding to the original conversation. I hope it gave you a bit of an insight.

However, I also view this as an opportunity. I take pride in delivering honest work and find it disconcerting that many "top-rated sellers" or "level two sellers" handle over 20 orders simultaneously, knowing that the end product requires 30-40 hours of effort. Realistically, it's impossible for someone to accept more than 5 orders (assuming they don't sleep) and deliver within a week. This "cancellation" review may help to expose dishonest sellers.

There are many, many sellers openly operating agencies on Fiverr, across all categories. These are usually TRS, unable to handle the workload on their own, and hence hiring and outsourcing. I'm not sure what kind of work you think religiously takes 30 hours, but this is most likely what you are observing. They're not dishonest.

AFAIK response metrics only takes into account the first message from the potential client, not subsequent messages. As long as you reply to the first message your response rate should not be dropping.

I think they're referring to the order response rate that reactivates after every new message on the order page (they show as “XYZ has been waiting for your answer for X amount of hours...” messages on the dashboard).

  9. Wow! This is so inspiring and exciting! Thanks so much for setting this up.

I'm Lara- I'm a certified translator. I've been on Fiverr for the past 2 years, and turned TRS last June, on my birthday! I'm currently also a Community Leader in Mexico City.
I'm also freelancing full-time and currently looking at moving to Spain (where I'm originally from) with my babies and husband, after living 10 years abroad.

It's really nice to see so many successful profiles and people going through the same ups and downs– it's been incredibly hard, yet incredibly rewarding too and I am forever grateful for Fiverr.

I really look forward to sharing insights and learning a ton with all of you. 😊
