  1. It's unfortunate, but I've also experienced a surge in 4-star ratings lately, despite providing what I believe to be excellent service. It seems to be a common trend among many sellers. My service is the same as before but the increase in 4-star ratings is alarming to me. But if it is common and happening to every seller then I think this might become a normal thing and gigs will sit at 4.6, 4.8, 4.5 stars average rating instead of 4.9 and 5 star rating as they are now.

  2. I'm sorry to hear that you received a negative review. I know how frustrating that can be.

Here are a few things you can do to improve your rating:

    • Respond to the negative review professionally. Acknowledge the buyer's concerns and apologize for any disappointment. Offer to make any necessary changes.
    • Continue to provide excellent service to your customers. This will help you get more positive reviews.

I know you can get back to 5 stars! Keep working hard and providing excellent service. Just don't take it personally and always learn from your mistakes.

And depending on the offense, it's possible to get banned without a single warning.

Perhaps some of those 5 warnings were in error, or for really minor things (or honest mistakes)?

Yeah agreed, maybe minor stuff and if the offense is higher then you get a direct ban.
Two warnings from different or same category under 30 Days gets you demoted to a lower level. And three in same results in ban.

  4. There will be ups and downs during your time on fiverr, just stay consistent and keep grinding. You may not believe me, but I received around 5 Warnings on my Profile/Gig in my first year of working on fiverr in 2020. But I kept on going and improving my work and strategies, now my Parents are enjoying their life, I was able to get my Dream Car and, I am a Top Rated Seller now for almost a year, after getting around 5 Warning in my First year of working.

Always believe in yourself and keep going. You don't have to have the most talent in the world. You don't have to be the smartest person in the world. If you persist and you persist and you persist, you will be successful.

  5. I remember seeing a landing page on fiverr few days ago regarding the refunds, it was for buyers and it had the stuff like "Hey if you need a refund, get in touch with us and we will take care of it" something like this. I am unable to find that page now, not sure if they removed it.

  6. I don't think this is gonna work for most of the sellers. Because the main reasons of Order Cancelation is the buyer's satisfaction. So if they are not happy with you in the first place then why would they re-order from us in next two weeks?

But I hope someone gets some benefit from this.

Congrats. It's a nice feeling, isn't it. You probably should, if the quality of your deliverables and buyer experience backs it.

Keep in mind that people's expectations are higher when they buy from a TRS and when they pay more. That you may lose some customers if you price yourself out of their budget and that it may take time to gain a new/different group of customers.

You may also want to remind yourself to make extra-sure that your deliverables are on TRS level, maybe do an additional final check, maybe rethink and modify your delivery messages, etc.

If other TRSs in your field get "enough" orders with higher prices, there's a good chance that it will work out for you, but there's always a bit of a risk involved, so the personal situation of a seller plays a role, too. If you're the only person who is responsible for keeping a roof over your and your child's head, without any savings, and a reduction of incoming orders for a month or two would be a major issue, you might want to be careful; if you're young, without any real responsibilities, or have savings that would get you through a phase with fewer orders, you have much less to fear, and it's far easier to give recommendations like 'Life is about taking risks', or 'Sure, go for it!' then.

It might be a good idea to do a big revamping of your Gigs at the same time you increase your pricing, to upgrade the visuals, wording, maybe the Gig packages set-up, as a visual cue for your current and former clients, that you have matured and that they get to benefit from your increased experience and maturity, and that might make it easier for them to want to take that step with you than if the only different thing they see is a higher price.

However, keep in mind that you got the TRS level with the current status quo of your Gigs and profile, so, if you edit them, make darn sure they'll look better and classier!

I hope some of that was useful. Again, congrats, and don't forget to celebrate! 🙂

The other TRSs are getting pretty good responses with High Price Tags so that is why I was considering increasing the gig prices a bit. My main concern is delivering great work to maintain the TRS level. And to get less order with high prices so it is easier to manage them. But yeah I will work on a revamp too. Thank You for your suggestions.

  8. Hey everyone, I hope you are having an amazing day.
Finally I got the TRS badge after a long wait, it's like a dream come true because I have work so hard for this.

I need your opinion for the future of my gig. My gig prices are currently lower than the other TRS sellers in my field, do you think I should increase them? Or what adjustments should I make in my gig so that I can get benefit of the TRS and also maintain the quality of the work. Any tips or ideas?

    Thank You.
