I'd suggest turning on the "Request to Order" feature if you can. This means the buyer has to reach out to you before they can place an order. It helps to have a conversation and get an idea of what you offer and what the client might expect from you before even starting an order.

Ill look into that and see if it makes a difference. Anything at this point cant hurt more than it already is.
    Thank you.

Did we ever get a concrete (transparent) answer on whether deleting a low performing gig will have a positive influence on the overall success score?

I have a few gigs that I'd happily sacrifice for a positive influence on the success score, but they do occasionally bear fruit, so I'd rather keep them if it makes no difference.

    Thanks

    Speaking of this.

Has anyone found ANYTHING that IS helpful? That is actually in OUR hands?

  3. The new system compares your gig to other people in your category on Fiverr among a bunch of new other metrics. It seems to be causing all of us to lose success rating for no apparent reason. There are quite a few threads going about it at this moment as well.

I completed something like 23.... 5 star orders, and two 4.7 star orders because even with high praise and tips, the value apparently just wasn't there.

Nobody can operate successfully under these standards, nobody knows where they stand day to day. We follow the rules set out by Fiverr and we lose score.

I really.... really hate to say it, but I feel like ordering that resume gig last week was the absolute right thing to do for myself, and it sucks cause I love this site 😞

    100% this.
I recently came back to Fiverr after a hiatus, and right before the new level system came out I was 5% from getting back to level 1. They unveil the new leveling system and Im farther away than I have ever been.
    Absolutely ridiculous.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I'm honestly pretty shattered at seeing just how bad this update has been from Fiverr. It's true that people have always sooked about changes... but this one has been absolutely horrendous.

Exactly. Its the fact that we are supposed to be a team with fiverr, as long as we work together, everyone gets dividends.
Now they are basically throwing their workers in the toilet.

  6. I was emailing back and forth with support and had them explain the new leveling system to me. When I emailed them back and said:

"So essentially the Fiverr Score is a curved grade?"   (because of basing YOUR score off of OTHER PEOPLES.)

The reply I got this morning was from Jean at Customer Support, here is what she had to say.

    "Hi,
    Jean here this time.
That would be correct, might not be the literal meaning of that but something of that is the case with the new leveling system.
If you need anything else let me know."

Im a little shocked that they flat out say "yes its a curved grade". If you are familiar with Schools grading on a curve, its a truly terrible scope.
