Only certain categories are being looked at for Top Rated Seller. Chances are you might not be in one of those categories.

Yes, but I have seen many sellers in my category on Top Rated level.

  2. Hello everyone.

I have a query to ask, It's been more than 5 months since I have completed all the criteria for a top-rated account. However I am not receiving any email from the Fiverr team about the acceptance/rejection.

I am worried because I don't remember the category I chose when I created the account, and currently I am serving in the technical domain (Wordpress websites). Does anyone have an idea how much time it will take?

If you are getting impressions and clicks but no new clients, while you're delivering work that your repeat clients are happy with, I'd say that's a problem with competition - people check your gigs and your competitor's gigs, and end up choosing them. Look into what gigs are selling in your vertical, and see what they're doing differently to be more appealing to new buyers.

    Appreciated!

What's wrong with orders from existing clients? Repeat orders are the holy grail of any successful business.

That's good, but you are not getting my point. I am getting impressions and clicks but no new order out of them, is something bad with my gig or what? I am more concerned with that.

  5. Hello everyone!

My gig is ranking very well for the last few months, in the last 7 days I have got 10k+ impressions and 300 clicks but just a single order. Can anyone tell me why this happened? This is the best impressions and clicks I have ever got but with 1 order only. Senior sellers, please guide me 🙂

    Thanks in advance!

  6. Hey everybody!

I was used too of getting alot of briefs last month and have got huge business from those briefs. But something strange happened that from last two weeks I did not receive even a single brief. Can you tell me what would be the possible reason behind this?

    Thanks in advance.

Well I am seeing the same thing like you.. i.e. 50K+ services on 3rd page (Keyword: Wordpress landing page) and 37K+ services on 1st page..

Ahh Fiver support says it is just a visual glitch but it is impacting my gig performance!

Because it doesn’t matter if you can or can not find your gig. Fiverr is matching gigs to the people who are most likely to buy, their search history etc.

In this case fiverr just decided that you are not likely to buy your own gig and not showing it to you.
But if you have impressions then other people can see it.

It is strange ... everything was working fine before and my other gigs show up in search results though they dont have any rating

  10. Hello everyone! I am facing a strange situation right now. My gig is not showing in search results just like previous but now I am getting more impressions and clicks then ever. I am really not getting that if I am not able to find my gig in the search results then how am I getting this much impressions and clicks. Plus I have tried to check it incognito mode as well, by applying filters but it does not show up! Kindly tell me what iss the matter and what happened to my gig.

When you are a seller that has not established themselves on the platform yet, you are routinely targeted by clients that want to take advantage of you.

These people know that you may be desperate to build your profile and increase your reviews.

It has happened to all of us. Your portfolio or prior experience does little to change that. Most clients just want to see numbers—social proof.

How you approach such situations is completely up to you. You are not guaranteed a review or even a positive outcome by engaging with these people. In fact, it can turn into the exact opposite, and they can devastate your account.

My suggestion is to be patient! Fine tune your profile, services, and communication. Create a personable experience by showing the clients who they are going to be working with. Charge a bit less than what you are worth, and the results will come.

    I hope this helps!

Thank you, I will consider your points.

I think as a freelancer you should charge what your time is worth........ If you're comfortable doing a work for a client at a price then just go ahead but make sure you're comfortable with the price. It's very important

Exactly, I charge for the time and effort I put in. But there are some sellers who design websites even in $5 or with low budget so sellers think every one else is going to do this in same budget for them.

    Never accept work like this.
    This is ridiculous.

I've seen this a lot in Briefs offers where people want an Online Multiplayer game for a browser + mobile for like $30...

Tbh those kind of offers should be reported imo, because this is just a scam.

If you really need work, then I'd go a bit lower from your usual prices, like 20% lower maybe...but that's the extent of it.

Also consider raising your prices, this might actually give you more offers than you think.
Even if it seems counter-intuitive, people tend to think that more expensive = better.

    And make more gigs.

Lastly, I don't understand the appeal of using gig thumbnails which use stock photo of random smiling people.
Did u consider a thumbnail image which has a wordpress logo + bullet point list of what you can do?

Thank you for this detailed response. I really appreaciate your concern. I try different types of gig thumnails and I have tried with wordpress logo and bullet points as well. And will surely consider in redesigning my gigs as well. I have 7 gigs, last day I paused few of them. Because I was not getting impressions.

Next time you will tell the client to raise the price, or cancel the order mutually If you think account  will be affected, then you have to complete a low price order..

I do not take such orders. But this thing really piss me off. I rarely get good clients. It is like a routine of buyers coming message n asking for low budget.
