What can I do to get a new job?

I am a data entry operator. I am proficient in all types of data entry tasks. I have completed a few tasks efficiently in the past as well. But I am not getting any kind of work for a long time. And I don't know how to get a new job. Will the experience help me in getting a new job?

I am also willing to work on sub-orders from anyone. But how do you get to work? 

Please give me some advice.
