Irreugular frequency of orders on my gig?

My gig had a dozen orders this month. I had returning customers too. This is one issue i had all month : Too many orders gets place on a single day. And most of the days, I do get no orders. For instance, 6 days in a week I get no orders and four new orders get placed on 7th day. Even when the orders are from different client, the story stays the same. What trick am I missing?
