Who is the forum for?
The forum is specifically designed for freelancers who have completed at least one sale on the platform. Once you reach that milestone, it will unlock automatically. For tips on getting your first order, visit here.Â
I'm new and feeling overwhelmed. Where do I start?Â
Begin by sharing a little bit about yourself in the  introductions thread . Then, take some time to explore posts in a category that relates to your work or interests. There's no rush to post immediately. It's perfectly fine to sit back, observe, and learn at your own pace.
How do I find conversations that are relevant to my work or answers to the questions Iâm seeking?
You can explore the forum by browsing a board or topic, or using the search bar to find keywords related to your niche or situation. The forum contains a wealth of advice from experienced freelancers, and your question has likely been answered thoroughly somewhere. Spending a few minutes searching before posting helps keep the forum organized and reduces repetitive questions.
Can I get support with account-specific issues here?
The forum is a fantastic space for sharing peer advice and getting general guidance. However, it's important to remember that it can't replace direct Customer Support assistant. If you're facing a specific issue with your account, your best bet is to contact Fiverr's Customer Support team directly at [email protected].
What makes a good post?
We encourage posts that are helpful, constructive, and community-focused, such as sharing tips from your freelancing experience, asking about platform features, sharing success stories, industry insights, and offering genuine peer support. The aim is for each thread to provide value to readers.Â
Vague, low-effort replies and posts that simply bump your points are unhelpful. The same applies to generic posts created solely to increase visibility or attract clients. Members can quickly recognize inauthenticity, and may choose not to engage with your content.Â
Can I use AI to help write my posts?Â
AI-assisted writing is acceptable, but fully AI-generated content is not. It's fine to use AI tools to improve grammar, refine phrasing, or organize your ideas if you already have a clear sense of what you want to say. However, prompting AI to create entire posts or comments with minimal original input is not allowed and will be removed.Â
The forum is a place for authentic connections with real freelancers and genuine experiences. Posts crafted in your own voice, based on your real expertise, will always resonate better than those that are templated or AI-generated.
Is it okay to promote my Gigs or services?Â
No. Most members here are freelancers themselves, so unsolicited self-promotion isn't welcome and can come across as spammy. Focus instead on building genuine relationships. People are far more likely to check out your profile when you've built real trust and rapport with them.
How should I think about my presence on the forum?Â
Think of it as a professional space. Your posts are public and contribute to how others perceive you as a freelancer. Showing up respectfully and consistently builds a reputation that can open real doors. You never know who's reading.
How should I handle disagreements or differing opinions?Â
Respectfully. Healthy debate is part of any good community. What's not okay is personal attacks, dismissiveness, or hostility. Engage with the idea, not the person.
How do I stay up to date on topics I care about?
There are a few ways to keep up without having to check back manually. You can watch a specific post to get notified when new comments are added â just open the post and click Watch. You can also follow a board or an individual member to see new posts in your Following feed. To manage everything in one place, head to your Watching & Following page, which has tabs for watched posts, followed boards, and followed people.
Why was my post deleted?
Posts are most commonly removed for three reasons: they were suspected to be fully AI-generated, they violated community guidelines, or they covered a topic that has already been asked and answered extensively on the forum.Â
Please reference the deletion notes for details on the specific reason why your posts were deleted.
Do I earn points for engaging in the forum?
Yes, points are automatically awarded each time you publish a post. Exceptionally crafted posts and comments can also earn you a bonus of 500 points, and each month we award a Post of the Month, which comes with an additional 1,000 points. For a full breakdown of how points work, check out the Community Rewards Store FAQ.
