Hey everyone,
Many people here on the forum and even off the forum message me asking how to rank their gigs. I thought I should share my own experience in detail because honestly,

gig ranking isn’t something that happens overnight.

 It’s a mix of many small things that work together — and what works for one seller might not work for another.

. So, I’m not new here — and I’ve tested so many things that I feel can help other sellers too.
 You can’t depend on one trick, or copy what someone else is doing, and expect the same results. Every niche is different. The best thing you can do is 

when i started i kept testing small changes — like title wording, keywords, and thumbnails — to see what worked best. So keep testing and improving. Watch how your gigs perform when you make small updates — that’s where the real learning happens. 

1. Follow Fiverr’s Own Guidelines First

 Fiverr actually recommends simple and natural titles — not stuffed with keywords. That’s your first win.


 If you’re offering something that needs a long title, that’s fine too — just make sure it sounds human, not robotic.

2. Gig Description: Make It Sound Like You

Your gig description is your identity. ❌

❌ “I’m an expert in 20 different softwares.” Buyers are smart ✔️— they can tell who’s real and who’s pretending.

Write what you actually know.
 Talk about your experience, your process, what makes you different.
 Make it friendly and easy to read.

 naturally in the first 2–3 lines — not forcefully. Fiverr may reads that part for relevance.

, you can use the built-in keyword research tool to find high-search, medium-competition keywords and use them smartly in your gig description. if you are level 1 or level 2 & want to upgrade standard plus, check this details👉 

Many sellers repeat the same words in their tags — that doesn’t help. Your tags should be different from your title. Use related words or different combinations to help Fiverr’s search system connect your gig with more searches.

Use Basic, Standard, and Premium packages — 

and make sure there’s a clear difference between them.

🔥If your basic and premium look the same, no one will buy premium.
 Make your premium worth it — add more value, better delivery, extra features, or priority support.

Also, offer Gig extras.
 For example, I offer extra mockups or additional design options for a few extra dollars.
 Even if clients don’t buy them, I often give something extra anyway — that’s how you build long-term trust.

5. Your Gig Thumbnail = Your First Impression

This is super important. in Urdu, we say:

“ Jo dikhta hai, wohi bikta hai. ” means

 Your gig image is what makes people click or scroll away.

Keep it clean, professional, and simple — not crowded or flashy.
 If you’re not a designer, hire one. It’s a small investment but totally worth it.

Think about it — if your own gig image doesn’t look professional, how can a buyer trust that you’ll design something great for them?

6. Make Clients Remember You — Build Real Connections (How i do this😊)

One thing I’ve learned over the years — Fiverr is not just about orders, it’s about 

. Many sellers rush from one project to another, but the real growth comes when your clients remember you.

When I don’t have new orders, I usually take some time to check in with my best clients — not to ask for work, but just to say hello. Something simple like:

“Hi hope you’re doing great. It was a pleasure working with you earlier — just wanted to check how your business is going these days.”         

Nothing promotional, nothing pushy. It’s a human touch, and believe me — this works like magic. Clients remember your attitude more than your delivery file.

As a designer, you naturally know what your client’s business is about

because you’ve already designed their logo, branding, or marketing material. So you already have a small window into their world. Use that thoughtfully.

 If you designed a restaurant logo, you can simply ask,

How’s your restaurant going these days?  

These small gestures make a big difference. They show that you care — not just about orders, but about their journey. And when that client needs something again, you’ll be the first person that comes to mind.
