I’m reporting a reproducible issue with the Fiverr Android app that appears to be an app-side push notification problem.

Device: Google Pixel 9 / Iphone 16 Pro Max

Fiverr app: Latest version from Google Play Store / App Store

not arrive while the device is locked or idle

This happens consistently and causes missed or delayed replies, which directly impacts my seller performance.

Before contacting support, I did in-depth research on this issue:

This strongly suggests an Android app / push delivery issue, not a device or OS configuration problem 

All notification categories enabled (lock screen, sound, vibration, pop-up) 

Background and unrestricted data enabled 

Unlock the device → notification appears instantly 

This behavior points to a problem with Fiverr’s Android push implementation (FCM delivery, background sync, or handling of device idle states on newer Android versions).

escalated to the Android engineering team

I’m happy to provide logs, screen recordings, timestamps, or any diagnostics you need.
