Hello community, and welcome to our new home!

We are so excited that you’re choosing to embark on this new chapter with us. 

While the old forum had a good run, as we explored ways to better assist you in your freelancing journey, it became increasingly clear that it was time for an upgrade to the community experience. This transition is far more than just a change in platform. We hope this will be the beginning of a fresh, new opportunity to further connect with fellow freelancers on a personal and professional level, and gain the insights you need to grow your business–all in one place.

As we designed this new platform, we wanted to ensure that your needs and wishes remained at the forefront of our efforts. We considered your feedback from the old forum at every step to ensure we were creating something truly special and tailored to you. Here are some of the key differences you can expect from the old forum experience: 

We understand the old forum started to feel a little cluttered and hard to navigate. This new space offers a more modern, clean, and intuitive interface. With advanced search functionalities, customizable post views for trending or chronological browsing, and improved tagging and board organization, finding relevant content and conversations is now easier than ever.

The old system unintentionally rewarded mindless engagement and inadvertently created a spamming issue. Now, our new badging system prioritizes quality over quantity so that engagement focuses on making meaningful contributions rather than just chasing ranks and badges. We have implemented some new spam filters and protocols to make the forum safer, cleaner, and more enjoyable. This includes email verification, limited posting capabilities for new users during their first week, and automatic blockers for accounts suspected of spam on Fiverr.com. 

! We currently have location-based clubs for the 

. Each club will offer support from dedicated Community Leaders, tailored events, content in your local language, and a private forum to help you connect more personally. 

In the coming months, we will launch more location-based clubs, as well as some interest-based ones. If you have any suggestions on which interest-based clubs you would like to see, please don’t hesitate to let us know. 

As you may have already noticed, the perks of this new platform go beyond just the forum. From webinars to networking events, blogs, freelancer-generated content, and more, you now have access to an entire hub of freelancer resources, all under one easy-to-navigate roof.
