I saw a recent post about a client being able to extend the deadline for a gig. I had a questions related to that.


What are the impacts of a client requesting a revision that would extend the gig beyond the original delivery date?

If I extend the delivery date to accommodate the request, does what kind of impact does that have. 


In my case, I delivered a project yesterday but the client had trouble opening a few of the files. So they requested a revision, which I delivered already. 

However, they now have until 25th to accept the delivery of the order. This would put it past the deadline of the 23rd. 

I wanted to see what others did as best practices for future reference.
