Ask the Community

As someone who has purchased multiple services on Fiverr, I’d like to share my perspective as a buyer regarding the review and private feedback process. 

Leaving a review itself can feel tedious and not very user-friendly. After submitting a review, being asked again for private feedback a day later feels unnecessary and somewhat intrusive. As a buyer, if I have an issue with the work, I would prefer to discuss it directly with the seller rather than filling out additional forms. If the work meets my expectations, I simply move on with my business. 

The extra notifications and steps can make the process feel overwhelming, which may discourage buyers from leaving any feedback at all. Many buyers might abandon the process when faced with multiple fields to fill, such as rating communication, service accuracy, and recommendation, followed by category selection. Then, after a day, another notification asks for private feedback—without offering anything in return. This can make the process feel more like an obligation rather than a meaningful experience. 

I believe the review process should be as simple and seamless as possible to encourage more buyers to participate willingly, rather than feeling burdened by it.
