Over 90% of the backlink services on Fiverr are a complete waste of money, and in many cases, outright fraud. The sellers behind these so called quality SEO link building gigs often have little to no understanding of basic SEO principles, digital marketing, or effective link-building strategies. What you're actually getting are low-quality (or fruitless), automated links generated by tools that spam any platform that's open to be spammed—usually with no regard for the quality or relevance of the links themselves. 

The links are not just useless; they can harm a website's or blogs SEO performance. In fact, the chances of your website being penalised by search engines for engaging in shady backlink practices are extremely high. 

The search engines are exteam;y sophisticated, they can easily detect when someone is spamming or attempting to manipluate the system which can also result in your site being flagged or even de-indexed from search engine results, resulting in a major blow to your online presence overnight. 

This brings up an important question: Can someone from Fiverr please answer this. 

Why does Fiverr allow these backlinks to be sold in the first place? Fiverr is well aware that buying backlinks, especially highly spammed links is a major violation of search engine guidelines and can potentially ruin a business overnight if penalties are imposed. So, why do they allow these services to thrive on their platform? Can someone please answer that for me? From Fiverr. 

The situation is even worse when you consider Fiverr's response to the many fraudulent and low-quality sellers. Despite the fact that Fiverr knows there are thousands of scammers, uneducated, unskilled and shady people operating on their platform, they continue to allow them to sell their services. - Why? 

As someone who has reached out to Fiverr customer support nearly 100 times to report blatant fraud and misrepresentations in backlink gigs, I can tell you firsthand that Fiverr refuses to take proactive action to protect users. They don't remove these sellers or take any meaningful steps to ensure that buyers aren't being deceived. Why? Could it be because pure profit is more importaint over user saftey? 

 It’s actually perplexing and concerning that Fiverr.com, and its millions of users, is not actively vetting the gigs being offered for legitimacy—especially when it comes to SEO link building services, a niche where scams run rampent. 

 It’s clear that Fiverr is well aware of the widespread issues surrounding fake reviews and fraudulent to worthless or damaging SEO link buidling practices on the platform. Yet, the platform seems to turn a blind eye. Why is Fiverr allowing so many sellers to continue promoting harmful, low-quality backlink services that can cause lasting damage to businesses? How is it that Fiverr knows about the scammers, fake reviews, and unethical practices occurring, but still allows them to thrive unchecked?
 
To me, it even more troubling when you consider that fake reviews are rampant. Many sellers are clearly inflating their reputations by using tactics to submit fake reviews, making it even harder for buyers to distinguish between credible service providers. fraudsters, and unskilled freelancers. 

At what point does Fiverr take responsibility for the integrity of the gigs being sold on its platform? 


Why aren’t they taking steps to ensure the SEO services offered on Fiverr follow best practices and adhere to search engine guidelines? 


Fiverr’s negligence in this area not only puts businesses at risk but also damages the reputation of the platform as a whole. The question remains: Why are they allowing this to continue?
